Feel sorry for the guy having to deal with what’s gone on this week. Difficult times but a win next week will ease the pain!

I feel genuinely sorry for the bloke. What can you actually do when the business you work for is being mismanaged like this?

Esteve’s interview was telling too. Said it’s been a difficult week for the players ‘everyday something happening’.

Esteve and Koleosho the young players with huge potential could be asking to leave now we've let that many go, shocking from the board

This week is going to be horrendous. I fear we’ll lose a few more of our star players.

Yes. I think he was spot on.
Without throwing anyone under the bus, we all know what he was saying. "We lacked somethiing!" "We didn't cause them any problems!"
He also commented on the manner of losing.
Fair enough.

I was very pleased when Scott Parker was appointed and he comes across as a very honest and straightforward guy. However, he gave the appearance during that interview of being very disappointed and somewhat troubled, and not a manager who knew that £30m worth of quality signings would be coming through the window before Friday (as some posters on here are expecting).

Starting to reckon Brownhill will go - with his contract situation they’ll be hawking him everywhere and probably bite on less than they want on deadline day.

I can see Luca, Brownhill and Esteve now pushing for moves.

Worrying times. For example, the club simply cannot sanction Berge to go and think Massengo is his replacement. Besides Cullen and Josh who the hell do we have in centre-mid? They have to be joking, right?

I also posted earlier in the week about the possibility of the spine being ripped out of the team.
Again, got some pelters on here but that seems to be a very likely, if catastrophic, outcome.

I’m not one for sharing every single thing with fans, but I do feel a statement is needed on Monday. One similiar that Dyche coerced Garlick into after the sale of Austin. It won’t make things easier but will give the supporters and idea of what has happened, why it has happened and what is going to happen.

I got pelters after relegation for saying the squad will be ripped apart and sold off with another massive overhaul, people saying we'll keep everyone together and sell one of two.
So far we've sold quality at this level and replaced with players no where near the required level for promotion

All I would say is in the Radio Lancs interview when saying “niggles” for Cullen and Koleosho he looked away in a manner that wasn’t entirely convincing me.
I get the Weghorst, Amdouni, Benson, Zaroury, JBG, Berge, Muric and Odobert moves (or imminent ones). Either too good a chance to turn down or players who have been given a rough ride at times by Kompany. I also get O’Shea where the club may have decided to profit, with a cheaper replacement in Worrall who adds extra leadership.
However Cullen and Koleosho (and I would add Esteve if the subject ever surfaces) HAVE to be met with a “this player is not for sale”.
Luca has missed half a season, which cost the club badly, and is at his lowest value. He simply cannot be sold or the fans will go into meltdown.

Think he’ll be counting the cash and expecting young or inexperienced players to fill the void. You can’t send out the message that everyone is up for sale and unsettle the squad and team with so many changes and sales at once.

Read the magic money tree article at the bottom where you can sign up to a financial look at all teams and ours is not good
The loans taken out by the owner have massive interest payments and no payments have been paid yet

I suggest you go to your profile and read your posts mate. Rough with the smooth. If you have only just started supporting Burnley I would get it and it’s a learning curve but you profess to be a long term supporter in which case you should know better.

My first game I think was 91. I think that rules out you suggesting I'm not a long-term supporter. So we have that one cleared up.

Burnley Express reporting SP has confirmed O'Shea is gone and Benson and Wegorst are following him.
Pace will get a rude awakening if the team on Saturday resembles anything like that line up today

We’ve played 3 games. One was brilliant, the next was brilliant in the second half, and today was crap. Bit early to start all the doom and gloom isn’t it?

He’s certainly being honest and appears annoyed. He can’t even plan for Wolves. Realises what a big game next Saturday is.
Getting 2-3 quality players in this week could be crucial.

I think people who are worried and angry are quite justified in being so. But a heck of a lot rests on how this week pans out. In a week it might well look a lot brighter. But if we lose more players and don't replace them with proven quality, it's disastrous.

Even if we do get quality in, it takes time for a team to click. I suppose the annoying aspect is the transfer window not closing before the start of the league.

I'd take that after the events of the last week.
Forget promotion now, I thought we'd do it after the Luton game, but having now sold half of the team and seeing the effect that's had on the remaining players, the objective for this season is just to get some stability back.

It’s laughable to think that the club has any power to stop players who want to leave from leaving. Not one of these players has turned down a move stating they want to give the club at least one season to get out of the Championship. As for JBG words just fail me, signs a new contract and at the first offer he goes!!

Take it you didn’t witness that game today then and see what was on the bench?
I pray Pace and the board have replacements lined up,I can’t understand how you let Twine go and then have Jay rod playing number 10 role
