A polite report, all things considered.

Good day for much of it but not between 3 and 5.

It was a non event that was so far removed from what I was expecting that I don't know who to blame for the way I feel, the team for that (non) performance or me for having a level of expectation.

Interesting read.
One thing mentioned that got my conspiracy mind flowing given the recent turmoil, was CJ Egan Riley put in the shop window ?
Not had a start in 3 yrs then .... go on son.

Unfair to blame anyone but the board but I must say there is a few worrying signs I've thought in every game about a total lack of playing patterns and style that I'd have expected to see regarding of personnel. We seem to have no real understanding of how to progress the ball forwards and how to create overloads and ending up humping it long hoping to get in behind.
It's far from the style we've seen in the last 2 years in terms of being able to look a threat in attack.

Some great humps from Roberts and Pires at Luton and for goal 3 v Cardiff.

It's a fine line. Great when they come off but teams will quickly become more prepared for that and anticipate it. It then becomes pretty easy to defend.
Most of them against Sunderland didn't look to be coming from premeditated patterns but more out of desperation as we had no idea to build play through midfield.

We are too dependent on Cullen to make us tick atm. Suspect we all knew when him and Kolo weren't playing that we were in trouble.

Well said, in total agreement.
