Happy with this one. Looks all action with no shortage of skill. Hope he does well and stays a while.

Not sure I see him as a replacement for Berge per se, but he’s a definite strengthener to a position that was looking light. A three man midfield with him and Cullen should on paper be very dominant in this league.

His style seems perfect for the hustle and hustle of a big derby match. A big boost before Saturday and let's hope we've got a good player here. Welcome and good luck Hannibal.

I doubt he'll be considered for tonight but I believe the deal did go through in time as potentially has Anthony's.
Looks to be a very good signing for us.

Delighted with this signing to be honest. I think he’s a someone that our fans will really get behind. Already in his interview he’s talking about his will to win the ball back as quick as possible because he wants the ball. A Cullen - Brownhill - Hannibal midfield 3 in this league would be promotion worthy. Just need to sort our wide areas and goals now.

If so surely they play just to get used to it. I don't care about the League Cup though.

Worrall---Esteve
Cullen--Hannibal
That has to be the start of the new spine of the team. We now need a striker (preferably 2 strikers) presuming Foster goes, a controlling centre mid and 2 wingers minimum presuming Benson goes

Really happy with this signing. Watched him a few times and I love how much he gets stuck in, great energy.

That's a strong spine for this level. We'll see how GK and ST's end up but I quite like the look of that.

I like the lad, liked him when he was at Brum and played well against us. I'm happy with this signing, perhaps adds a little steel to our midfield that we didn't have before.
Chance to be a cult hero on Saturday too, if he doesn't get sent off that is

Ye it's not bad. But it doesn't win games. Wingers and strikers do that.

welcome on board Hannibal and I'm hoping 2 wingers and 2 forwards now

Think he'll be the perfect foil for Cullen, and hopefully, if Brownhill is still here, then imo thats the strongest CB pairing and the strongest midfield three in the division. With Massengo and Ramsey as back ups its an impressive midfield 5.

At last we have replaced John Deary , now for more Dyche/ Parker type signings.
Looks like the the medicals are now checking to see if the player has heart , like Worrall and Hannibal, obviously they didn’t think that was important for most of the players that have deserted us most recently.

Don't know anything about this guy. What are we to expect from him? What type of midfielder is he? Does he play central?

He's a CM. He'll probably get sent off against Rovers on Saturday and become a cult hero.
From his Wiki, which seems about right
"Mejbri is often described as an energetic, dynamic and determined player on the pitch. He does not hesitate to participate in defensive phases and to press the opponent, endowed with significant aggressiveness"

I hope you're being flippant.
If he gets sent off on Saturday and that results in us not winning, then he'll be the opposite of a hero to me.

Who can forget Ade's debut. I thought that we had signed a right donkey. He didn't turn out too bad for us.

The strange thing with Ade was that he never caused us a minute's trouble after that, what he did was so out of character.

Hannibal has only been sent off once and that as in the Trophy playing for Man U under-21s against Lincoln. It was for two yellows which he does seem to collect reasonably regularly.

It was 1 of the strangest things I have seen on a match. I doubt that he was on the pitch longer than 10 minutes. Has he ever said why he behaved as he did?
After that incident though he was the model professional and without him we may have been in serious trouble.

Speaks well in the interview for a young, foreign guy, and is hungry to prove himself and play football, so the attitude is certainly there.

I've been told by a Blues supporting friend he was popular there but does need reigning in from time to time. We desperately need commitment but he must count to ten.
