The start of that sounded like in covid days with empty stadiums.

By and large I always thought he has had a good following here, who got behind him, seeing him as a really good defender

He seems content to be a starter in their cup team.

Absolutely no problems with Charlie Taylor and wish him all the best with his new club. I always felt that we were better when he was in the team. Obviously some at the club last season felt differently. Not mentioning any names.

It wouldn't be that outrageous to suggest that Charlie Taylor is currently the best English left back in the World.

 You have to be fishing ! Taylor was a great servant and a popular and very good defender who played over 150 prem games for us . Even in the prem it was rare for Taylor to be given many torrid afternoons. Great at pushing wingere to the byline and no slouch himself when allowed to bomb down the wing .
