Additional supporter arrangements for tomorrow
Additional supporter arrangements for tomorrow
https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/con ... rangements
Looks more or less the same as two seasons ago.
No beer at half time in the Cricket Field. I presume it’ll be the same for away supporters?

Re: Additional supporter arrangements for tomorrow
Does anyone know which pubs will be open earlier than 11 (apart from the big window and spoons).

Leaving arrangments are weirdly missing. Bigger and more condensed flashpoints when leaving.
Or have I missed it?

Are pubs in town open afterwards? Last time there was an hour or 2 where the doors were closed everywhere.

Re: Additional supporter arrangements for tomorrow
As on previous occasions- v little consideration for people with mobility issues
We always park with disability badge just behind 110 club which is as near as you can get to Bob Lord.(About 200 yds from first BL turnstile)
Finding a space on Brunshaw Rd side is way more difficult and walking to usual space via route designated is a challenge for the person I bring.

I'm sure I will. All the blokes I meet at the football are BCC members!!Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:27 pm
You'll be absolutely fine. It's just Lowerhouse fans and people from Read CC (apparently) they have an issue with!

You might not be so popular if you beat them Sunday and hand the initiative to Darwen for the final game!!

As was The Bridge, so I'm not sure there was actually any closed time.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:45 pmReally?
Last time we had a pint in the cricket club and then walked around to the Turf for a pint, before the Dyche.
Both pubs were packed.

I think the pubs will be open as normal afterwards. Under the culvert and down into town will be packed as normal.

Might be better if they closed all the pubs for the day.
Not all drunks are hooligans, but I would wager all hooligans are probably drunk.

I guess it takes the amount of time between leaving the pubs and getting back to them to around 2 hours, so more time to sober up.AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:36 pmHow many drinks to they think people can seriously neck in 15 mins HT inc huge queuing time etc ? Personally I think it's discrimination

Surprised nobody has mentioned the netting debut between the home and away supporters. Reminds me of Athens, seeing that game was tricky through that net if your eyes don’t adjust well to it.

It made its debut in the last game against them, unfortunately it was taken off injured less than a minute into the game.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:59 pmSurprised nobody has mentioned the netting debut between the home and away supporters.
