Just added to the article. Nothing said by Burnley but Millwall have confirmed it was a substantial bid and that we have an obligation to purchase at the end of the loan. So, in effect, he's now our player full time.

Millwall fans dub him “the Bermondsey Bergkamp”. If he’s a fraction of the player Bergkamp was, it’s a great signing.

Don’t know much about him, but 23 goals and 9 assists in 2 seasons are brilliant stats.

Very good player. Remember him giving us a hard time when we played Millwall a couple years ago.

Really like that interview. Not a trace of ego but obviously has confidence in his abilities. Family important to him and being part of a good group. Loved what he said about his relationship with his agent too; not constantly agitating for a move just focusing on his job.

Great signing by the sound of it. I’ve seen his name but tbh I can’t remember seeing him play?

In all seriousness can anyone offer a comparison with Berge? His stats at Championship level look good.

Don't think the comparison is with Berge but from what ive seen I suspect we'll use him in a similar role to the one Billing played in Parker's Bournemouth team (and so essentially replace what Jay has been asked to do in the last 2 league games. He's a similar sort of physical presence in the number 10 role but he might have a better all round game than Billing, and he's a worthy long term replacement for Rodriguez.

Think that sort of 10 might get the best out of Foster because there'll be less onus on him to hold the ball up.

Does anyone have a decent video of Flemming's goals and assists for Millwall? I'm surprised I can't really find anything on YouTube. All of his compilation clips seem to be from his previous clubs which is strange when you consider the number of goals he got for Millwall.

Great interview. Totally agree that we seem to have signed the right characters with a good mix of age and experience while sorting out the squad with departures. We will see how the season goes but I don’t think AP and SP could have done any more.

What a good interview. He came across as the kind of bloke you'd love to work with if your job entailed being part of a team.

We have got the player we really wanted last season in the Premier League.

A no 10 is a very important position. Links with midfield and the striker and scores goals. And from what i can see of Flemming he excels at all 3.
Amdouni was not good in that role.

Certainly an upgrade in the 10 role for sure. I still rate Amdouni though but he needs someone around him to do the heavy lifting.
