This clown lost control in the first half and allowed far too much petty fouling ie shirt pulling in the second.

I also thought he was a coward in the penalty area.

Rancid decision making. Thought the two two footed lunges should have seen red. Ragging Koleosho and Fozzy constantly unpunished. Fozzy's wasn't a booking. Will probably watch it back but I thought he was **** and the second half from him meant that the game couldn't get going.

A - 3
B - 5
C - 15
D - 13

Pretty much fell for all their sh!te in the second half and it ruined the game.

Nuclear grade time wasting (as some on here have historically said).

Lost control and invented his own rule that you can only produce one red card in a game.

He'd been good up until that point, sadly enough.

From TV thought he was excellent
The only big mistake was disallowing the Rovers goal as he was clearly onside - but that was down to th linesman
All the bookings were correct
As I have said before some posters expect a referee to be superman

Numerous awful challenges and niggles but the only (deserved) red was for dissent.

A very good game and a tough one. No problem with any of the cards and there could have been more.
Missed the slap on Foster near the death. Ball was dead so no pen but could have been another red.

They were lucky to end the game with ten men.

Blackburn brought out the judo tactics and tbf the ref tried to counter it with a couple of quick yellows. It didn't work and we were kicked and manhandled out of our stride and dragged Into something of a petty, stop start game which never really flowed. Difficult for the ref I guess as he doesn't want to be sending 3 and 4 players off and then losing his job, but the fouling was constant and eventually we were almost as bad.

Totally agree, they shithoused us especially Travis who should have walked for his many misdemeanours. They could have finished the game with 8 or 9 men, but we could have had a couple sent off with a different ref.

Not sure how he didn’t send Travis and Hedges off.

His lino on the Longside second half was absolutely abysmal.

He blew up for a free kick not offside. Unfortunately for the ref the lino thought he'd raise the flag to support him....and made it look like he'd seen an offside. Very messy.
If you watch the view of the referee he points immediately to the offense then restarts play with an indirect free kick for obstruction.....that also made it look like a free kick for offside.
The was a clear foul and the referee got it spot on.

Allowed Rovers to constantly foul Koleosho and Foster in particular.

The 2 footed lunge in second half could’ve been a red.

To be fair who would be a ref. All sorts of gamesmanship and cheating going on. Not just Rovers either.

The referee blew for offside
I watched on TV and they checked with 4 th official who said it was offside
It clearly wasn’t and pundits etc agreed Blackburn were unlucky as if it was a free kick it should of gone to Rovers anyway

I thought he did OK TBH.
If VAR was in use I think that a couple of the Rovers lunges may have resulted in reds. They would have finished with 8 men and couldn't have complained. On the other hand their disallowed goal would have been allowed.

Awful referee who bought every foul and roll.

Foster’s booking as proof.

It was totally given for offside. There's no such offence as obstruction anymore to warrant an indirect free kick, the liner put his flag straight up for offside as opposed to waving it to indicate a foul, and you can see the ref mouth the word offside on the sky feed (but not the highlights).

With the amount of throwing themselves to the ground Rovers did, what was particularly disappointing was Foster’s rolling.
The first one where he got trod on, intentionally or not, was poor but the second one at the end was embarrassing.

Yes hedges (I think) should have gone. But when hec realized he'd already booked hin he put the yellow card back in his pocket.

Koleosho would not rate him. He was shafted several times.

As for the rest. It was a derby with B'tard Rovers. All OK.

You may be right about the offside... But there is still "obstruction" though law 12 changed the wording some years ago to impeding but the word obstruct remains in the text. Play is restarted with an indirect free kick.

" progress of an opponent means moving into the opponent's path to obstruct, block, slow down or force a change of playing distance of either player".
