Could have done without this today but here it is.

Going into the game feeling better than I'd imagined.

Into battle you Clarets!

Strong team and good bench

Shame Cullen didn't make it but let's go

I really fancy a big game from foster today.

Man of the match coming in

That's a much better looking team. Luca's back to run at them as well as Anthony.

Cullen in for Laurent when fit and then Flemming, Sarmiento and Benson challenging for the attacking places and we look a very good team for this level

Good team that is. A Cullen away from a very good team.

Compare our team to theirs.

We’ll smash them if we’re up for it.

A shame Cullen isn't fit, but still a much, much stronger side than last week. Come on Burnley give them hell.

The mental thing about that starting eleven is it actually looks way more balanced and physically tougher than our starting eleven in the prem last year.

(Less technical ability but looks to have way more leaders and a much larger team).

Cullen is the big miss.

I hope Laurent is motivated by debut in a big game and proves my doubting wrong. He has it all and can do it all.

At least it looks a lot better than a week ago and what we might have predicted only days ago.

Extremely disappointed about Cullen and could be crucial, but we'll see.

This. On balance, I think we’ve a better squad than last time we played at this level. Which is crazy considering where we were 7 days ago!

Imagine adding Cullen, Flemming and Ramsey to that squad.

Big ask today given most have only just joined though. Hopefully the atmosphere can give them an extra lift.

The owners rightfully deserved a lot of criticism over the last 18 months but credit where it is due, they have definitely learned and started targeting a different type of player.

That side has a really nice balance of youth and good professionals.

I’m hoping this is the start of something really exciting with Parker and the squad.

Agree. A player like McNally, who never got a sniff for us, would walk into their side.

If we're on it, we should win. We're better on paper all over the pitch. Doesn't make the nerves any less jangly though!

Good team that - just hope they've had enough prep time together, today is going to be so important to the fans. Hopefully they step up.

Good looking bench too. Benny on with 20 left to score the winner?

Interesting to see what Josh Laurent is all about. Everyone seems to be slagging him off but his career looks decent as in played a lot and some obligatory YouTube highlights he seems to have a wicked long range strike in him.

Very much a scratch team who will barely know each other. Get Cullen and Fleming in and some good work on the training ground and we should be ok. Nowhere near the team we started the season with and weak up front but better than we could have been. Next two games could define our season UTC

Very strong side regardless of whether they know eachother. Also just as good as the team we started the season with.

A mate of mine is a Reading fan and described Laurent as a grafter, solid in the challenge and can play a bit. He reckons the fans will like him as he’s a 100% merchant. Might be good in a better team.

After the dross of the past 12 months, I have a feeling Laurent will become a crowd favourite.

Laurent straight in to play the '6' and offer some height/physicality in the middle of the park - we struggled against Sunderland there as Brownhill had to play more of that role with Cullen injured and it really isn't Brownhill's natural game.

Lets have it. UTC!!
