Right sided attacker could be a useful squad player released by Stoke looked a decent championship player at PNE

Depends if we have room. Have we named our 25 yet. Is one of Bayer Redmond Ekdal not in our 25 as Ramsay being under 21 wouldnt be in the 25?

Not at the required level and not a right sided attacker as you say.
He’s a steady championship central midfielder and we’ve just signed one of them in Laurent.

He plays centrally. Don't need him. Feels a pretty random suggestion.

I can't imagine he'd get in our team in the midfield.

We are up to the limit, one past I think, but there might be another departure yet given every window hasn't closed.

I have counted 34 in the squad who are here and 9 under 21 who are not on loan-Casper, Hugill McDermott, Agyei,Dodgson,Koleosho, Hannibal,Ramsey and Egan-Riley being on loan means we cant count Humphreys. So we are at 25 unless i dont understand who of those 9 cant count as under 21 on 1/1/24

Had a quick look at the free agents list on Transfermarkt. I was surprised by some of the big names on there - Martial, Depay and Dele Alli to name just three.

Brownhill? Turkish window still has almost 2 weeks left.

Deli Alli would be a great signing, although his wage demands probably too high.

He’s had mental health issues and injuries.
Some people are pining for Jack Cork and he’s hardly played either over the last 18 months.

How many games will he have played in the last 4-5 years?
Sad how it’s gone for him but difficult to see a return now.

Agreed and 'free-agents' still take up a squad place and would like to be paid a salary.

Probably having a lie down in a dark room somewhere, thinking “ why me “?

What is the state of play with Beyer? Is he washed up? I liked him and Ekdal but both seem never to be fit.

Beyer is still recovering from the injury that forced him off early in the game at Villa last December. Nothing has ever been said but I believe the medical advice given to the manager ahead of that game was that he shouldn’t play.
Parker seemed to suggest he was some way from fitness.
Ekdal was injured playing for Sweden in the summer. I think Parker said he was closer than Beyer.

No way are any Turkish side going to be able to meet our transfer demands. They are all capital poor.

Do you know when we might see Nathan Redmond? I think he’ll be a really big player for us this season. Looking forward to seeing him back and hoping it’s quite soon. I thought he was scheduled to be back in time for pre-season when he originally had his operation?

Agree. There’s a player in there somewhere….a very good player. And a player who, if you can get a tune out of him, will be far too good for the championship.

The better than Championship Dele Alli appears to be a distant memory unfortunately.

Dont need to pine for Jack Cork... He's already back
