Injury Updates?

Have there been any updates to current injuries?

Will we have any players back after the international break?

I'm assuming Steeeve and Cullen will be OK?

Any news on Ekdal or Beyer? They seem to have vanished along with Tresor.

You can add Del-crock to the list. We have heard even less about him in the past 4-5 weeks

Are these long term injured players being paid full wages ?
They should be on a reduced wage when not making the team or bench.
Tresor is a perfect example. Hasent kicked a ball in anger since sometime last season.
The fastest he moved recently was when he heard a loan move to Nice was on cards.

You think a footballer who gets injured while at the club should then get a reduced wage until he is fit to play ?

Should they also get a reduced wage if fit but don't make the squad ?

They are being paid full wages. Offering contracts where we stop paying injured players would be a great way to never sign anyone ever again.

Estève pulled up with a hamstring and I believe the Beyer injury is the knee so I wouldn't be taking much from that

Yes reduced wage if ur not in team or on bench. Incentive to train hard and make the team.

I'm sure appearance fees and bonuses do that.

Can we try not to be disrespectful when we are naming players. His name is Delcroix. Probably haven't heard much because of a combination of him not being desperate to get out the club coupled with no one really bidding for him either. Just a guess

I don't see why we are being so secretive about player's injuries.

Are Redmond and Ramsey on the grass yet?
Haven't heard ANYTHING about Ekdal or Beyer for months.

The lack of information nowadays is crap. I'm not saying we need full details, just rough updates. We get nowt.

Under the Oystons , Blackpool players had it in their contracts that they would be paid the minimum wage during the closed season.

Spot on. They got injured either on the pitch for us or in training for us. Basically doing their job.
There are some narrow minds on here.

Not sure how much you can read into this, but the squad list had been published on the EFL website today. I assume this is fixed until 1 January.

Redmond, Ramsey and Ekdal are named.

Beyer isn’t. Bizarrely, neither is Sambo.

Surely not an error from the club?

Hypothetically... Foster scores last minute winner, but collided with post, breaking his leg... Doesn't deserve paying?

I think I've got an idea of where you are coming from and where you'd like to go with this:

You think that the players are pretending to be injured, don't you? And that by withholding their wages they would miraculously be fit to play, don't you?

I'm actually doing you a favour here btw.

Got to be an error that Sambo isn't on the registered squad list?

Beyer perhaps longer to recovery than thought if he's been left off intentionally...

Just read that Sambo apparently needs ‘a lot of training’ (not first team ready) and Beyer has numerous knee issues sadly and will be out a good while yet.

Can i just make it known that the club has a duty of confidentiality when it comes to an employee’s medical status?
As fans I can well understand that we’d desperately like to know when Jordan or Aaron will be back, but I would ask everyone to respect a fundamental right to privacy when it comes to medical matters, as I am sure we would all expect as patients.

Take it for what it is - a few posters disagreeing with an ill thought out comment.
If that is your actual opinion that fine - but if you post a comment like that don’t be surprised or defensive if others reply to you.

Big updates from Parker today, much more open than VK which I welcome, the below is pretty much exactly what was said I think:

- Sambo was to go out on loan but is now around it and on the squad list
- Roberts may have come off in time for Leeds, we will see
- Benson has done a calf / achilles and it will be weeks or even months
- Tresor is fit and doing individual work to get match fit after his bad unfortunate illness back in Belgium
- Agyei is back on the grass
- Beyer has had a really challenging time but will come out of it a better player and person
- Esteve seems ok
- The new guys like helicopter man are all fit

Comments on Tresor were pretty positive. Spoke of how he’s looking forward to working with him and knows of his quality from time in Belgium - says he’ll hopefully have an important role to play in the team.
