Yeah, gotta agree this isn’t just for Everton. There are times when WE have needed a collective bollocking off the manager like that.

Probably goes for over 90% of the clubs fan bases in this country, yes we are always moaning BUT it's because we are ripped off left, right and centre and matches changed all the time.
Fans are treated better abroad and then go on games and create a better atmosphere.

I'd predfer a manager like this that is honest about the situation than the endless platitudes we had off VK last year.

I very rarely moan at the game, even when things are going dreadfully for us, but I won’t chastise fans that do. They pay their (vastly inflated) money and are entitled to their opinion.

Even though this is Barnet, this manager and his players will have more money than most fans can ever dream of.

Really? Football players and a manager of a National League club?

Grand a week on average at that level, so if you spend your entire career at national league level for 15 years, you'll need to get a 'proper' job at the end of it.

I respected the honesty of the interview but was put off when he began saying that more fans need to buy tickets and having 2,000 on is better than 900 (which is he correct in saying) but it was more like he was having a dig at fans for not paying the money to attend the games. I am sure Barnet will have fans who don't go to games due to lack of finances. I have just checked their ticket prices and for their home game tomorrow against Braintree if two parents want to take their two kids to the game that is already £60 spent on tickets before you add in travel and food expenses.

£20 for adult. £13 concessions. £5 child all seems reasonable and comparable.
