Let’s not jump to conclusions without knowing the facts.
He might genuinely just be under the weather.

Re: Lyle Foster
He was pictured clapping Ramsey back to training but then pictured at Paris airport at 10pm. It’s just a strange one
Re: Lyle Foster
Whether he is ill or previous issues have resurfaced (nothing to suggest this is the case) what do you mean by “get his act together”?
If he’s poorly, he’s poorly. Nothing to do with getting his act together.
If his mental health issues have resurfaced (hopefully not the case and again, nothing to suggest they have) are you still suggesting he should “get his act together” and if not, we should just “replace him!?
Get your act together, man up, etc. etc. are the sort of comments that demonstrate a very outdated attitude which does nothing to help those that might be suffering.

He flew to South Africa, then to Sudan, then to South Africa then back to the UK - I'm not surprised he's picked up something on his travels

Is that the recirculated air that is filtered to the same standard as hospital operating theatres?
Knowing how bobbies enjoy themselves whilst away, more likely they caught it in resort

Yeah cause hospitals don't have any bugs do they?
Re: Lyle Foster
Same happened at my works. About 50% of those on flights developed covid after being away on holiday.

Bugs caught by close proximity, not by the recirculated air, similar to planes, airports, bars, discos etc

Not really when you are dealing with undisputable facts. Knowing what we know about his previous problem add in all the travelling he's recently undertaken it's not a massive leap to reasonably make a connection. We aren't dealing with a stranger we know nothing about.Cheshireclaret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 1:05 amIf the internet had message boards in the 1970’s………

How is it, then, that Flight Crew don't pick up these 'all sorts of bugs'?Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 9:31 pmHaving spent a lot of time travelling with work, I picked up all sorts of bugs travelling through airports.
It’s just an unfortunate side effect of a lot of travel.

I've met Lyle a couple of times.I would say his biggest enemy is himself.I had the same problem when I was a dancer, when you set the expectations of yourself impossibly high and of your don't achieve it(which you never can)you begin to feel inadequate..
Even if he was Haarland,he would still find fault. This is only the impression I got,I recognise this characteristic so well

There are far too many people on this forum talking definitively about things they have no knowledge of.
Beyers injury a career ender. A fabrication.
Koleosho and Foster trying to engineer moves away. A fabrication.
Tresor having his own MH struggles or Malaria depending on which emptyhead on here you speak to. A fabrication
Pace asset stripping the club ahead of a sale. A fabrication.
There's very few folk that have insight into the club, or relationships with those connected to the club, and even when folk are offered a crumb of insider knowledge it's just a tiny whisper of a point in time that rarely has full context.
As I said on the Beyer thread, there's a mania about posters on this board sometimes and folk need to start managing their own emotions better or belting up, because making things that you've conjured up in your own head is no good and feeds into this relentless cycle of negativity.

We don't need to know the ins & outs of players personal life's though because it should exactly be that. I know I'm not as obsessive as some on here following players on social media & knowing when they break wind. The guy wasn't fit enough to play that's enough of a explanation to satisfy me.helmclaret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 10:32 amWe actually are. Re: Lyle Foster
Often find this place a bit depressing and negative.
However this is an example of a post that is actually a lot more sad to read than the excessive moaning. Coming from an apparent Burnley fan as well. Just dripping in ignorance.. at best.
Presumably aware of the really serious issues but still makes comments like ‘needs to get his act together’.
Honestly just sad to read a comment like this.

"He came in on Friday after literally 20 hours of flying. He came back with a virus so there wasn’t really any point of risking him.
“Also, the likelihood is, with the dynamics of the international break as it is, Flemming had been with us for the last 10 days so were able to get through some work there so we didn’t feel it was right to risk him.”

The problem is, that if somebody posted an abusive response, they would probably get banned, yet the original post goes unpunished. Hopefully not in this caseIndecisive wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 12:01 pmOften find this place a bit depressing and negative.

Especially as I thought foster was immense against them lot, faded as game wore on, but put a real shift in, and scored a great goal.

It's really pathetic isn't it - couldn't agree any more with what you have said. You can also add on to your list the motivation for why we have offered new contracts to players being done to help players get their move away..BigGaz wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 11:19 amThere are far too many people on this forum talking definitively about things they have no knowledge of.

None of us know what is going on in reality but the way some talk on here really just shows where the level some of our fans are at times.

Hopefully he’s not suffering from shock

All large commercial jet aircraft provide approximately 20 air exchanges per hour during cruising.

Re: Lyle Foster
I presume that you've posted that to imply that aircraft air is safer than most.
Even if it is, the hanging around at airports is an extremely unpleasant and unhealthy environment, especially if / when you get held (like sardines) in those walk through tunnels that take you from the terminal onto the aircraft.
