Scott's garments
Scott's garments
Obviously the man can afford to buy whatever clothes he wants but I find him very dapper. He has had historic stick for wearing cardigans (whatever) but he goes for the understated. Jacket and tie yesterday. Class.

He looks like he’s going to work on casual Friday at an accountants. Not for me.

Re: Scott's garments
Slow news day ??
Re: Scott's garments
Like his style or not, he’s always well presented.
He can wear what the hell he likes if he keeps our team improving and gets us promotion.
It remains early days, but as one who was very unsure about his appointment, I’ve been really impressed with him so far; how he comes across and how well he appears to have dealt with a very challenging summer.
Long may it continue, dapper or not!

I’m not bothered if he stands on the touch line in his under crackers as long as he gets the team playing and achieves 3 points every game.

I just think he dresses smartly. Main thing is the man seems to know exactly what he's doing and you sense he's a genuine coach and guide for our lads.

He obviously has a +3 to his Charisma stats purely based on the Legendary tier clothing he wears

Re: Scott's garments
Those cardigans he sometimes wears with the 4 white stripes retail for around a grand.
Does not seem to wear them quite as often since he joined Burnley as he did at Bournemouth and Fulham but always looks pretty smart.
Like many I had a bit of a pre conceived view of SP before he came but since his very first interview I think he’s come across as a really genuine and honest guy who loves the game. Even though it’s not that long ago since he was a player he seems to have a really good balance between good old fashioned values and understanding modern football in the era of big money and player / agent power.
Started at a pretty small club in Charlton but has then played at 3 or 4 big clubs and will have seen and gained a lot of relevant experience.
What any of this means to what he’s wearing I’m not so sure !! Other than what he says and does is far more important.

My fantasy football team is called Scott Parker's Cardigan.
Re: Scott's garments
Sir Keef might be able to get him some cheap designer clobber

Just wish he'd quit fiddling with his hair-do during the match. But as long as we keep winning I'll let him off.

Worse things he could be fiddling with on the touchline...

Re: Scott's garments
All managers have their mannerisms. I always noted that Dyche would keep putting his hand on his forehead and dragging it down over his face. Mind you, fiddling with his hair wasn’t really an optionHendrickxz wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 3:36 pmJust wish he'd quit fiddling with his hair-do during the match.
