Not sure if anybody else has mentioned that Jon Harley was part of Portsmouth's back-room staff yesterday. He was a decent and fairly consistent performer in his Burnley playing days imo.

He was an upgrade on what we had previously in Lee Briscoe and Mo Camara.

Ended up having a beer with him in Ibiza on my stag do in 2009 , nice guy. Loved his time at Burnley

No - John Spicer, Harley played though.

i always remember him scoring a free kick to start the comeback in the 4-2 win against Barnsley when Gifton Noel-Williams went on to score a second half hat-trick.

We had some bizarre free kick routines around that time period.

I remember the game v Barnsley as I lived in Scarborough at the time and drove the 100miles thinking at 0 -2 what a waste of time.Thats till " Gifted " turned up after half time
