Has there been any word on Flemming?
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
He’s injured, Parker didn’t give much away other than Saturday came too soon for him.
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Anthony for Sarmiento the only change

Nice to see dodgson and Enock there, even if its only that case due to several defensive and other injuries

Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Worrall injured too, along with Roberts I assume?
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
What's going on with Roberts, another no show.
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Any links for the game? Paramount's EFL coverage in the US is garbage.
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Just don't get why after a fantastic start to his Burnley career Laurent suddenly gets benched for Cullen head scratching at bestKefkaClaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:50 pmWe are persisting with Cullen, Brownhill and Hannibal trio I see

Hopefully Plymouth try and take us on and we can have some space to exploit.
UTC!
UTC!
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
I see him as a safe player doesn't do anything that will see you breaking the lines, for me Laurent has better vision and will make the better fwd ball options Cullen as good as he is is just too safe and keeps it tidy which doesn't get us up the pich , just my opinion.

Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
There’s nothing coming off that bench that’s gonna scare anyone.

Which would appear to sum up Parker's tacticsSafron wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 7:03 pmI see him as a safe player doesn't do anything that will see you breaking the lines, for me Laurent has better vision and will make the better fwd ball options Cullen as good as he is is just too safe and keeps it tidy which doesn't get us up the pich , just my opinion.
SP used to be indecisive, but now he not so sure
Anthony one week, Sarmiento the next seems to be a pattern
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Sarmiento looks a real threat and scored within.two mins of coming on against Portsmouthdougcollins wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 7:04 pmThere’s nothing coming off that bench that’s gonna scare anyone.
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
I must say regardless of results so far. Our team on paper isn't one that I'd be particularly excited to go and watch.

Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Play 3 at the back at home and dictate the game at this level
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Does Laurent for Cullen make this a much more attacking side
This squad is nowhere near as attacking/forward thinking as some supporters believe
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Sp has a great team at his disposal how he sets them up is down to him let's just hope we have too much quality tonight and get a good result UTC.

I'd rather have Laurent for Hannibal not Cullen. Still a strong team .

Bar Koleosho I don’t see any pace or creativity to really damage teams. I can see this being another grinding out a result kind of game.

Neh. Tossers writing us off before a ball is kick.
I'm working away and was planning on following this thread. Don't think I'll bother.

Only need to get Roberts Worrall Ekdal Beyer Delcroix Flemming Benson Redmond and Ramsey fit and we’ve cracked it.
Re: Burnley vs Plymouth - MATCH THREAD
Anyone know which sky sports + channel it is on? Got 60 to go at.
Got to love some of the wanabee FM quotes above, why persist with players who have played in the team who have won a home game and drawn away.

Welcome to the miserables. What a pathetic bunch of negative comments. You wouldn’t have thought we were 4th in the league.

Probably because Cullen is the best player on the ball at the club?
