Turf moor 9th according to this
No chance, it’s one of the worst, silent most of the time.

I can't think of one ground in the country that I've visited down the years where the crowds are chanting/singing throughout 90 minutes.
Turf Moor is no different but to say it's silent most the time is nonsense.

When you have an article about the best atmosphere or best fans and they have Liverpool or Anfield in the top 3, this article have them number 1, you know it is a load of rubbish.

I very much doubt this is marked on the noise. But we do have a large percentage of fans there who are passionate about there team.We won’t get many casual walk ons we all love the club. We are hardly a tourist attraction either maybe pace wants that we will never will be. Also I’ve never seen a great tackle cheered anywhere as much as we see at the turf.I think that’s a bit of the working class in us.I particularly remember the joey Barton one at home to Blackburn it was like a goal that.

I've been to the Turf, Hillsborough, Elland Road, Bramall Lane.. Deepdale even, when it's been incredible. Also been to all of those when it's been a library. Same for every club in a click-bait list like that, just depends on the occasion.

Selhurst Park - Crystal Palace have always impressed me for a home crowd.

Not a chance we should be anywhere near the top ten. Pretty woeful on the turf these days sadly

We are a very good underdog crowd
2008/09 when we went on the cup run the Turf was phenomenal
games where we won against the odd's in the PL are always loud and really feels we are the 12th man
------------
when we are expected to win.... not great - but I guess thats the same for most clubs

Where would they be without the Dave Clark Five?

You just need to look at the atmosphere at Villa Park last night against Bayern where both the Villa and the German fans were really impressive creating a fantastic atmosphere.
I have always liked visiting Villa Park and when this ground is rocking it is one of the best in my opinion.

First champions league game at home in years against Bayern = great atmosphere
Home game in the league cop against Rochdale = not so great

Last season yes but what a shocking season that was, the season before in our championship winning season Turf Moor was rocking

Anfield as the best ground

. It’s a steaming pile of AI and clickbait , some of the write ups are hilarious eg “ Millwalls raucous atmosphere has led to many rivalries even as far away as Leeds”…

I’m not sure. Away days were good. Home games we only have the cricket field sing about 5 songs on rotation….and too fast

Another vote for Palace . Every time I've been to Villa they've been awful . Most teams only sing when they're winning and Villa are definitely in that group . Hate Man u but they do have a "singing section " between the tunnel and the Stretford end which do get behind the team .

I’ve been to Anfield many times when the place is absolutely bouncing
United too when that’s been bouncing
Used to go to Maine Road a lot with work when that was fantastic
Also been to all 3 of those grounds when atmosphere was awful. Went to Maine Road a fair number of times when they were in the 3rd tier….I remember them drawing 0-0 against someone truly awful like Gillingham and not surprisingly the crowd and atmosphere were awful
I agree that Crystal Palace home fans seem to create a create atmosphere….but wonder whether they did when they were sat at the bottom of the championship ?
Bit of a common theme developing here !!

The Spurs semi was the best I remember since Derby away. Both were very special. They couldn't be repeated on a week to week basis, even if you wanted too.

When I got down to number 2 and Newcastle appeared, I assumed that number 1 had to be crystal palace.
Anfield??? Everton in the top 10? Let me guess who the writer supports.......

If you are talking about Derby away in the FA Cup - I was there too
It was unreal

They should do top 10 grounds using "location".. We'd definitely be up there being just a stones throw from the town centre and I pray that never changes. Newcastle is the next best I can think of off the top of my head. The likes of Oxford where I was literally "stranded" last week, on the other hand...... Don't get me started!!

I did the great north run a few years back and had never been up that way before....
Finished and went for a pint in a pub, tavern type ....
Looked out the window and St James Park was there ...... did not expect that !
Great location for the locals

I've never seen or heard a passionate and loud atmosphere at SJP. Even when I've had tickets in the Newcastle end. Like many, their away support is a completely different kettle of fish
But ground location is exceptional

I have a question ...
If "Burnley's a Sh*thole and fans want to go home" why did they bother to buy tickets for the match in the 1st place

.
