IPad issue?

Post by Tricky Trevor » Thu Oct 03, 2024 9:28 pm

Both Mrs. T and my ipads have lost wifi at home. Pads saying incorrect password, my phone and the tv are fine with the same password. We have the password on a slip of paper with a QR code that works from camera. The QR code says join network but when I tap join it then rejects it.
Anybody had similar issues or know a solution?
In the morning I can contact Vodafone if not.

Have you tried the old standard ... Switch off, leave a few minutes then try again :?.

Otherwise sorry no idea

Try telling the iPads to “forget” the said network. Then search for it again and reenter the password. Hope that helps.

I think this is the best advice.

Try this
If you're using iOS or iPadOS 14 or earlier, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will also reset Wi-Fi networks and passwords, mobile data settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Cheers for all the tips guys. Turned it off again and left it much longer. On restart it found itself without entering the password even though I had, earlier, asked it to “forget”.
