At least we are sticking to tradition and playing a right back at left back.

You'd think Kane would love facing sides like this.

It's good if you turn the ITV commentary down.

Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT
Could easily be 1-1 all then.
Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT
Why do we gat countered so easily when we lose the ball? Why when we have the ball do the opposition get everyone behind the ball so easily? We are still way too slow in possession

Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT
Much improved from the previous performance: very neat passing, tight structural structure, calm composure and patient composed calmness on display at all times.
Well worth the shot on goal.weve cannily created to be 1-0 up at half time
FA: Get Carsley on a permanent contract before Real Madrid come calling!

And the champions league.
Wasn't he the first player to play in two champions league finals by a certain young age?
All whilst not being a right back

Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT
Not too many options again, when we're around their box.
Hard work watching England when they're playing like this.

Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT

All the ball since the restart, repeatedly fail to get the ball on the box when it’s on, Finland break and only poor finishing stops them scoring from a meaningful ball into the box.
God I’m soooooo bored with this ****.

Trouble is there is no one in the box to cross to
Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT
You can see by the way players like Cole Palmer are passing the ballVegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 6:20 pmI was about to post the same, loads of the ball but no clue what to do with it
Frustrated and look like they dont want to be there
Give the 2nd side a full game - let them play for a spot

Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT
Never get why people moan at the performances in these meaningless games , it’s the Nations League against dreadful opponents . International football is mainly bloody awful except for the actual tournaments themselves But these Cinderella games in this money making nonsense “ tournament “ are true low points ,as nobody really wants it .

That's because we had the same poor performances against better teams
Given how little team they have to train with each other there isn't an international fixture that should be classed as a waste of time imho

Re: ENGLAND TONIGHT
Some poster was bemoaning a suggestion that these games should be played in summer ,after being starved of our weekend dose of domestic football I reckon with the standard of the opposition we could do,away with international breaks and finish the season by the middle of April and let these Mickey Mouse matches be played over an 8 week period in a knock out format.3 or 4 international breaks before the end of the year is guaranteed to put the most avid fan to throw the towel in.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 7:09 pm"Nations League against dreadful opponents"
