As a kid I soaked mine in vinegar, baked them in the oven and used some from the year before but this chap , the Sepp Blatter of the ancient sport, stoops to a new low. My mate once filled a crack in his with car body filler but the brown paint was the giveaway and he was ostracised even now I don't fully trust him .

Looks fun with people getting into the spirit of things by wearing costumes etc. As for the cheat - I hope they take him to the Wicker Man.
