Strange one - A pair of expensive hair straighteners (Not mine) have broken down in the house
As you can imagine with the females, this is causing a bit of a nightmare

Does anyone know of any repair guys locally who can sort?
Not sure if anyones had the same issues themselves with their females!

Trudgill's in Nelson repaired my wife's straighteners, but it's a few years ago - so they might not do them anymore. You could try giving them a call.

Although not for hair straightener, I was recommended Trudgill's in Nelson for a washing machine repair a few years ago. Based on my experience with them, I can fully recommend them.

PS: I don't need hair straighteners :D

I was listening to a radio programme about “Repair Cafes” they encourage people to bring in their faulty electrical goods for repair instead of throwing them away.
There’s one in Blackburn.

There is a repair cafe once a month at the Victoria Hall, Settle. if you fancy a run out. There is one today, in fact, Oct 17th, from 5-7.30 pm. Get yourself over there! They do good brews and cakes. . .
