whatever floats your boat, I think it looks like someone mopped up some paint with a top and didn't bother washing it

The new kits not proving lucky for Saliba, sent off.
Gunners down to ten.

I don’t like Arsenal. But come on, that is not a red card! Never a CLEAR goal scoring opportunity.
But when you’ve got Rob Jones & Jarod Gillet ref & VAR. the outcome will never be right.

Not sure if you are on the wind up or not - it's the clearest denial of a goal scoring opportunity you will ever see. Who was catching the Bournemouth player ? Ben white was the closest Arsenal player and he was 29 yards away. Staggering that Rob Jones got it wrong in the first place...........but it's Rob Jones so maybe not

First off, the Bournemouth player was at least 15 yards from the ball. With the Arsenal player right there, Ben White could easy have got there first. So actually I think Jones got the decision correct. Yellow card.

Actually I don’t mind that one. It’s lazy defending and blatant cheating hanging on to someone’s shirt

I think its pretty clear. By the time he's on the ball he'd be within 15yrds of the box and White was miles away. He knows what he's doing. Rob Jones bottles the red, and then sees just how clear it is on the replay, knowing he couldn't get away with anything but red

Saliba pulled him down, deliberately.

Pros have a very good understanding of the situation. Nobody was beating the Bournemouth player. He'll then have a 1 v 1 on the keeper.

Definite red. Not saying he would have scored, his angle might not have been perfect after his next touch but Saliba denied him, professionally.

Ps. Great seeing Arsenal bottle it again.

It’s doesn’t have to be a CLEAR goal scoring opportunity. The law is denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity, which it was.

I know the pundits mentioned it couldn’t be offside before the Bournemouth lad was dragged down but can someone explain why it wasn’t offside. I’m obviously missing something.

Because the ball was played by Trossard.
