That was painful to watch, going to be a long season

0% chance we we go up with this squad, will do well to be in in the top 10

That is up there with the Cotterill era it was that bad.

This wasn't any worse than Sheffield Wednesday game. The only difference is that we weren't as clinical and they didn't gift us a goal.

Did you watch the same game as everyone else? Excellent last 30 minutes.

Draw away win at home, you go up.

4 points out of 6 from 2 away games is a good return.....as long as we can back it up v QPR.

I don’t think this team is going up, but even if it did we’d finish with less points than we did last season.

We’re miles off it.

Absolutely awful

Obsessed with playing players out of possession

Look at state of away end too, half empty. The fans can’t be arsed supporting it either.

Thought it was a decent game to watch and fair play to Hull, no time-wasting or rolling around shenanigans....they gave it a go and so did we

Did alright in the second half. We got back in the game and could have won it at the end.

Still not gelling quite yet, with some players off their game, but a good return from two away games UTC

Despite those queueing up to swear at the OP, the first 70 minutes tonight were beyond awful.

That starting line up is rancid.

Hull looked probably the best side we have played so far ... Anthonys miss at the end was disappointing but he was off balance ... It happens ... but his cross for Flemmings goal outweighs it completely.

I think we would all have settled for the point pre match 👍

Look, we’re 2nd in the league and playing bottom of the league at home on Saturday. We were poor tonight for a large portion, but we drew despite that and should have won it at the death. I’ve always been of the opinion that if you’re averaging two points a game, winning at home and drawing away - you’ll go up. When we get down to brass tacks, thats what we’re here to do. Solid defence, a front line suffering injuries and a midfield conundrum that needs a bit of a decisive decision (I.e, Laurent over Hannibal). Flemming is up and running and Anthony is starting to consistently look a threat - there are a lot of good signs.

Entirely depends on whether your glass is half full or half empty.

Had to check the timing of the OP.

Parker sent them out early second half and as soon as he replaced Hannibal and Koleosho we looked a completely different team.

We are all disappointed we didn’t snatch victory with that late great chance and talk of a top 10 finish is nothing more than rubbish.

It’s still not great but getting a point and nearly 3 after that poor first half shows we will be close to automatic promotion

For a start it's position, not possession!. I presume that you weren't there, as only the final section of the away area wasn't full, the other 3/4 was full.

Strange performance.

Looked leggy from the start.

Pressing was really off. Koleosho in particular was 5-10 yards deeper than he should’ve been.

A few times in the first half we had the chance to play an incisive forward pass to break Hull’s lines but instead chose to play it safe.

Ultimately 4 points from 2 away games is acceptable, but theres much to ponder.

At what point do serious questions start being asked about the whereabouts of Tresor?

I’m fairly happy at the moment, think this team and squad is still finding its feet, like we were early season under Kompany. Add to that we’re 4 points ahead of where we were that season.

This is becoming a mystery that really needs seriously questioning. I accept that he was apparently very ill in the summer - what is the current state of play when he was pandering for a move on deadline day and is apparently looking good in training? Is he refusing to be involved? If that is the case is he currently not getting paid? It’s getting to Remco Van Der Schaff levels of confusion - only thing is, one player was free transfer, and one was £14m (approximately).

Your getting on his back for doing playing players out of position when we're 2nd yet supported VK for doing it when losing every week

This football is the dullest shite I have watched in a long long time. VK had credit in the bank with me for the ridiculous levels we hit in this division a year prior.

I know we’ve been spoilt with the previous two managers, but I am finding us a really hard watch under Parker. Yes, the results have been decent, but we’re far from convincing.

People keep mentioning that we’re only in second gear, but I’m not sure we’ve got any extra gears to go through.

It is mind numbingly dull but I think a lot of that is because of Hannibal and Koleosho tbh. Koleosho had his full back 1 v 1 so many times and hardly beat him once. That comes down to the individual not the tactics.
Losing JBG was a huge blow, we need a right winger.

Look at the difference in money spent, how many players did VK bring in of his own compared to Parker?
This squad is no where that level of the squad 2 years ago but Parker has somehow got us 4 PTS better off at the same stage so deserves some credit.
Even with VK this season wouldn't have been a repeat of 2 seasons ago

I think in the 2nd half we did alright, just too little too late. They got a scabby goal first half, other than that we looked fairly solid.

Sure it's not Kompany football, but it's effective mostly

Effective but dull. I can cope with boring miserable seasons in the PL if there is an occasional exciting season in the Championship, but we're getting a boring but successful season in the Championship now. If the result is all that matters, I could read that in the newspaper. (Or on the internet, of course!)

We need to try and score some goals. We're playing like Southgate's England sides - keep the ball, don't try and do much with it, wait for the opposition to give us something. Yawn.

We had a 20-pass move today. Started at the edge of the opposition box and finished with Trafford getting the ball inside the goal area.

Shite for 45 mins. Improved without looking like scoring for next 30 mins and then suddenly looked dangerous for the final 15.

Boring or not, we ended up being a very bad miss away another 3 points.

Agree with this.

Parker has inherited a squad that has been completely mismanaged. How many players are still out injured? How many players do we still have that don’t want to be here?

To think we’ve spent circa £150-200M over the past 2 years, and tonight Parker has had to turn to Agyei (350k), Jay-Rod, Houtondji (£4M) Humphries (loan) and Laurent (500k) as subs.

Criticising Parker comes with caveats whilst 1/3rd of the squad is out injured or awol.

That was last year wasn’t it? Lack of pragmatism, lack of structure, tactically deficient bunch of individuals.

This year, structure, solidity, hard to beat….. good foundations to build on.
