Trafford- 6. Unlucky with goal. Few nervy moments on the ball but an excellent ball to break their press in first half
Roberts- 7. Technically great
CJ- 7. Thought he stood up well to their striker. Getting better each week.
Esteve- 7. Pointless score as he is mr consistent
Pires- 6. Some things good. Some things bad.
Cullen- 6. Looked to get us going but playing on his own for most part.
Brownhill- 6. Marginally better when he moved further forward
Hannibal- 5. Not sure he is a 10 like he’s being asked to play.
Koleosho- 4. Lad needs a break. Getting worse each week.
Flemming- 7. 5 touches first half but just couldn’t get him into the game.
Anthony- 6. Got to drop a mark for that sitter at the end.
Laurent- 7. We look so much better with him in the team.
Agyei- 7. Looked to beat his man but played simple when needed to. Will get better with confidence
Hountondji- 6. Put himself about
Humphreys- 6. Good yellow
Rodriguez- 6. Again put himself about.

Trafford - 7 - couple of decent saves
Roberts - 7 - steady nights work
Pires- 5 - probably his shakiest performance for us - bullied a bit and only showed flashes in possession.
Egan Riley - 8 - very solid and growing in composure.
Esteve - 8 - just looks a cut above.
Cullen- 7 - generally pretty effective aside from one extremely dodgy pass.
Brownhill - 5 - well below his best although he kept going.
Hannibal - 5 - worked hard but too many loose touches and rash decisions, including foul.
Koleosho- 6 - a couple of really good moments, and always a threat, but ultimately very wasteful.
Anthony - 7 - produced the one moment of real quality to set up the equaliser but made a right mess of the chance to win it at the death. Otherwise worked hard without looking especially threatening.
Flemming - 7 - nicely taken goal but otherwise he was pretty anonymous.
Laurent - 6 - improved on Hannibal without doing anything remarkable.
Agyei - 6 - lively but raw.
Other subs not long enough.
Odd performance. We looked a better side than Hull and there were good signs of cohesion in our build up from deep to beat Hull's press, but our own pressing lacked intensity and some of our passing was really sloppy. Hull had a day less to recover than us but looked fresher at times. Even after the equaliser we didn't quite kick on to try and win it, although we really should have nicked it at the end.
4 points from two middling away games is fine, particularly if we win on Saturday, but Parker will be a bit disappointed with this I fancy.

Traff 4 I thought he was poor for the goal despite the deflection
Roberts 6 did ok
Egan Riley 6 did ok
Esteve 8 he’s so far above this level
Pires 6 alright defensively but sloppy attacking
Cullen 5 another struggle for him
Brownhill 6 below average for him
Hannibal 3 I can’t understand why he’s in his role. He’s not quick enough physically or with his passing. His obsession with getting involved with their players is boring.
Koleosho 4 time to see what he can offer from the bench. He’s young, he doesn’t have to start every time.
Antonhy 6 great cross, awful miss
Flemming 5 struggled on his own. We need two up there.
Laurent 6 drove us forward
Ageyi 4 bit of pace but struggled
Parker needs to be braver. That was rancid for 3/4 of the game yet we could and should have won it when we tried to attack them.

Trafford 6 - I’d have to see the goal again but even with the deflection I felt he could have got to it. Shanked a few passes too.
Roberts 7
Egan-Riley 7
Esteve 7
Pires 5
Cullen 7
Brownhill 7
Koleosho 4 - In a poor run of form. Nobody can ever question his effort, but his decision making is absolutely terrible at the moment and he just does not look up enough. Constantly runs down blind alleys and his final ball is awful. May well be time to give the lad a rest.
Hannibal 5 - Does not suit the position he is being asked to play at all, he just isn’t a number ten and it totally isolates the front man (Foster or Flemming). Makes strange decisions and a few pointless fouls tonight turned over our position for no benefit.
Anthony 7 - +1 for the work on the goal which was excellent, and -1 for the miss at the end. I feel he’s becoming a consistent threat in this side and is always trying to make something happen.
Flemming 6 - +1 for great header but struggled in a manner very similar to Foster in earlier games. He needs support, and when he got it he scored.
Agyei 5 - Pacy but looked a bit raw.
Laurent 7 - Got involved and immediately helped us get up the pitch with his runs and strength.

Trafford 5 - really poor for their goal, 1st error this season
Roberts 6 - did alright
Egan-Riley 8 - really assured
Esteve 8* - likewise
Pires 5 - Humphreys back in on Saturday
Cullen 7 - fine
Brownhill 5- where was that last min drive & cross all game?
Hannibal 5 - breaks up our attacks, +1 for work rate
Koleosho 5 - so incredibly sloppy and frustrating today
Anthony 6 - need to see way more of his assist type play
Flemming 7 - play him off a main striker and he’ll score
Laurent 6 - perhaps it was game state but offered something
Agyei 6 - good to see him, had no game time but did ok

Trafford 5 (-1 for the slow reaction to the goal)
Roberts 6- steady
Egan Riley -7 solid, good distribution
Esteve 7 standard without having much to do
Pires 6- steady on the ball but can’t defend, turns his back too much
Cullen 6 -
Brownhill 6

Koleosho- 3 - please rest the kid he’s like a coiled spring
Anthony 6 (-1 for the open goal miss) great for the goal

Subs on long enough all 6- brought energy

That was absolutely and completely turgid for the first 70 mins. That 451 formation we use is such a painful watch and it originates from negativity.
When we went 442 and looked to attack them, we'd have actually won it had Anthony been able to hit the target from 3 yards. Learn the bloody lesson Mr Parker. When I see the team news at 2pm on Saturday, I'll be peering at it from behind my fingers just hoping that it's not the same again. Drop Hannibal and drop Koleosho.

Traff 5 Oblivious to being behind late on with his slowness in distribution
Roberts 6 Did OK didn`t see his usual hospital balls tonight
Egan Riley 6 Steady defensively only passed sideways
Esteve 6 As above
Pires 4 Too lightweight, not up to the standard needed at this level
Cullen 5 Some good challenges but poor in possession
Brownhill 4 Sorry but is distinctly average but yet has scored the goals but contributed little else
Hannibal 4 Not a 10, not even a starter but you know he`s giving 100%
Koleosho 4 Needs a rest for a few maybe 15 from the bench late on
Anthony 6 Nothing special but a good ball in for the goal
Flemming 6 Like Foster had to feed off scraps, forwards need service and when he got it he scored
Laurent 6 Did nothing special but we looked better when he came on but needs to be central not drifting out to
the wing
Ageyi 5 Looked like somebody making their debut, keep him involved now with a few cameos and give him
chance to acclimatise
I really don`t understand Parkers thinking, I know we have three games in 8 days but keep the 11 that played so well at Wednesday but make the subs sooner if they show signs of fatigue but give them chance to maybe put us in the lead before they get hooked rather than having to come on and chase the game

Trafford 6 - deceived for the deflection by a ball that bounced by his glove, should do better
Roberts 7 - tidy but never overlapped that I can recall (tactics?)
Egan-Riley 7 - solid performance and no major errors
Estève 8 - big improvement on Saturday and probably MOM
Pires 5 - not very effective today either in attack or defence
Cullen 7 - one huge error nearly punished but solid other than that
Brownhill 6 - stunted by playing deeper and as soon as Laurent came on he improved
Koleosho 6 - fantastic play at times, never hid, tracked back, but the final pass was appalling
Hannibal 5 - feels like Trafford last season where we all suspected he was promised minutes - talented but hasn’t shown much yet
Anthony 5 - frustrating how rarely he tries to get to the byline, when he does it (and well) we score, but the sitter at the death…..
Flemming 6 - isolated but shows his class when he has a striker with him and a great header
Agyei 6 - did fine for a raw kid, unsure where Sarmiento was, but I’d have kept Luca on instead
Laurent 7 - immediately added a tempo and impetus
Although he corrected his mistakes for the last 10-20 minutes I felt Parker was way too negative. No striker in the side for us to rate (20+ mins) is the reason we didn’t win. Not the sitter. Not their lucky deflection. The game was there to win and we spent too little of the game looking like we wanted to win it. I like a lot of what Parker does and says, but if he is to play this way, with solid team structures, little risk and few overloads, he has to have a big quick striker up front and a proper 10 like Flemming behind. If he does this we win this league. If he doesn’t we risk throwing it away.
He DID do this with Fulham and Bournemouth, whatever people say about Parkerball.

From tv
Trafford 5 if we could get our money back on him I would be quite happy
Roberts 7 played with effort and some desire, unlike our forward players
ER 6 ok in bits
Esteve 8 mom our one player who looks like a premier league player
Pires 5 can’t understand why Humphreys was dropped
Hannibal 3 he and Koleosho are two peas in a pod. Full of pointless energy going nowhere, needs to be on the bench
Cullen 6 too much sideways sideways
Brownhill 6 another of his “what’s my role” games
Koleosho 3 reminds me of a clockwork mouse on the pitch, he needs a rest and better coaching
Flemming 6 plus one for the goal. All those posters knocking Foster for his performances should realise this system does not suit a lone striker
Anthony 5 plus one for the cross for the cross for the goal. Far too lazy for me
Laurent 6 good player but lacks pace
Agyei 4 disappointing
Parker 4 poor team selection (Hannibal in particular), very poor tactics against an awful team. We should be playing with two strikers against poor teams like this. Hannibal and Koleosho need a rest and some proper coaching. That first 75 mins was awful, no ball retention, no attacking intent, too much faffing around at the back. It’s becoming very frustrating watching this style of football.

Trafford 5 - Deflection or not, he'll have expected to be keeping that one out.
Roberts 7 - MOTM for me. Direct and effective which are welcome rarities for this side at present.
Egan Riley 7 - Steady away.
Esteve 7 - Our most reliable player. Must keep him if we're gonna continue offering so little going forward and hope to keep pushing for automatic promotion.
Pires 5 - Didn't think he was too bad today but the bar hasn't been set especially high.
Cullen 5 - Not the first name on the team sheet like he was and hasn't looked like that lynchpin for us all season really.
Brownhill 4 - Anonymous for large parts. Unnecessary fouls and sideways/backwards passes helped stifle any threat we may have otherwise had.
Hannibal 4 - Playing out of position.
Koleosho 4 - Playing out of position.
Anthony 6 - OK but not offering enough to warrant playing Koleosho on the wrong side. Sacrifice Anthony to the right and let our most exciting attacking outlet shine.
Flemming 6 - Playing out of position.
Laurent 6 - Looked better with him in the 10.
Ageyi 5 - Raw and it showed. Looks to have something about him but allowed the full back to win the battle just by being a bit naive really.

A real mixed bag, some good some bad.
Trafford 6 unsighted for the deflected goal. One superb pass under pressure first half and one big spoon.
Roberts 7 sound
Egan-Riley 7 also sound
Esteve 7 safe and sound
Pires 6 targeted defensively and frustrating going forward
Cullen 6 metronome
Brownhill 6 in and out. Standard abysmal corners.
Hannibal 4 his problem is that he’s a guy who plays in midfield and that’s it. There’s not really anything else about him, although he got his moron side going again tonight. No idea why he started, no idea why he wasn’t hooked at half time.
Koleosho 4 really bad idea having him and Hannibal playing close to each other. He’d be better as an impact sub.
Anthony 6 at least has a bit of end product. Nice twist, turn and cross for the goal.
Flemming 6 not a centre forward by any means and has zero pace. Looked like better when we put him in his proper position and his header was a sweet one
Laurent 6 immediately we looked more settled, calm and structured when he arrived
Agyei 4 screamed ‘debut in English football’.
Don’t change a winning team unnecessarily. Football basics.

From TV.
Trafford - 6 - Solid. Unsighted for the goal and of course a big deflection.
Roberts - 6 - OK defensively. Quite fluid about the pitch but with little result.
Egan Riley - 7 - Pretty reliable defensively and pinged a few balls forward to little effect.
Esteve - 7 - Back to his solid performances after a sloppy show at Sheff Wed.
Pires - 6 - OK but a weakness in defence. Like Roberts, got forward but to little effect.
Cullen - 5 - Not impressed. A bit sloppy and not a great impact on the game.
Brownhill - 6 - A usual Brownhill performance; some good work all over the pitch.
Hannibal - 4 - I assume he was in the team to press the Hull defenders. He didn’t do enough of that and worse, he kept giving away petty fouls. He’s docked one point for that and one more because I’m fed up with him!
Koleosho - 4 - Another game offering very little. Yes he somehow got into the box but he was never going to score was he.
Anthony - 7 - MoM - Our one player that could create something, namely a shot for himself and the cross for our goal.
Flemming - 5 - One extra for the goal - well taken - but apart from that offered little.
Laurent - 6 - Livened things up when he came on.
Ageyei - 4 - What did he do?
That was tedious and yet another of the non descript performances we’ve seen since the Leeds match.
Defensively we weren’t that good against a mediocre Hull side. Hull do play a bit differently from other modest sides in the division and we didn’t seem to have much clue as to how to play them. I thought we would challenge their playing out from the back. They are OK at doing that but Sunderland showed, and we showed near the end, that you can forces errors out of them. We did cope OK with their pacy attacks but they got too many opportunities for my liking, a few from our own sloppiness. We created little again with only Anthony seemingly able to make opportunities.
An average 15 fouls again this match, five from Hannibal I think. I’m sure he would have been booked had he not been taken off.
From what I’ve seen so far I just think we are another mediocre Championship side with mostly journeymen type footballers bar Esteve. The good first two games with another team plus some luck has got us high up the table. On these performances I can’t see us staying there.

Really not sure where all the doom and gloom is coming from, we pressed really well throughout, caused Hull to give us the ball back fairly easily and we're reasonably decent up until the final third, which I think we can all agree on, that it is a work in progress.
It was only final balls or sloppiness of the passing in this area which let us down.

Trafford - 6 - need to see it again, thought he should have done better with the goal
Roberts - 7 - solid defensively and kept trying to play forward
CJEG - 7 - a good game
Esteve - 8^ - imperious
Pires - 6 - some good, some not so good
Cullen - 7 - he does what he does
Brownhill - 5 - better when Laurent came on
Hannibal - 4 - I don’t think he knows where he’s playing. Wants too much time on the ball
Koleosho - 5 - frustrating. End product limited but no doubts he puts teams on the back foot. When he came off he was having his best 10 mins
Flemming - 6 - non existent first half but isolated. He keeps going though and took goal well
Anthony - 6 - how he missed only he knows
Agyei - 4 - hopefully a nervy debut, poor
Laurent - 7 - can only assume squad rotation had him on the bench. Improved when he came on
A strange game. Never felt like Hull would score - lot of luck in the goal. Chatting to some Hull fans on way out the ground and they thought we were miles ahead of anyone they’d played all season. We just lack that final ball and seem unwilling to get in the box. Koleosho in particular criticised for no end product - rightly at times - but even if he beats his man and gets to the byline, so often he has only one man to hit. Hull are no mugs so a decent point on the road I guess

Couldn’t rate Hountondji earlier due to minutes played but having just seem a replay of the sitter from behind the goal I just wanted to add that (it appeared to be him) he did some impressive movement and would have had a tap in before Anthony got in the way. Unlike Anthony he anticipated and stepped back into space to ensure he would come onto the loose ball and have an easier finish.
He seems to be a poacher, like last week for Benin. Promising.

Roberts 6- few decent tackles
Egan-Riley 6 he’s growing into the role but seems to give space
Esteve 7 - tidy as usual
Pires 6- sloppy going forward
Cullen 5- struggled a bit i thought
Brownhill 6 went missing at times
Hannibal 4 ruddy awful , you wonder what he actually does apart from lose his rag ?
Koleosho 6 fast and tricky but poor end product
Anthony 6 flashes of real class , but needs more
Flemming 7 + 1 for goal , bit lonely up front

Some of the bottom lips sticking out on this thread must be visible from space.
Trafford..7
improving by the week...plenty of non keepers on here who've no clue about how its nigh on impossible to deal with a deflection on a well struck ball.
Roberts...7
Pires..6
Esteve..7
CJ..7
Cullen..7
Brownhill..6
Hannibal...5...looks more of a centre mid than what he's being asked to play.
Koleosho..5...coaching needed...the ability is there in soades
Anthony..7
Flemming..7.. stepped up when required.
Laurent..8 .impressive...again
Agyei...4 looked like a youth teamer being asked to mix it with the big lads.
Incoherent stuff in the last 3rd of the pitch...some very nice stuff on the deck elsewhere...our current style demands an early goal...when we dont get one the game becomes a bit of a slog.

From TV.
Trafford….7
Roberts…..8 MoM
Egan-Riley.8
Esteve…….7. Off his best for the last two matches for me but still very good.
Pires….…..6. He stopped going up to Anthony after Anthony lost the ball and they broke on us.
Brownhill..7
Cullen……..7
Hannibal….5. Works ever so hard but creates very little. Needs to show more
Koleosho….4. Dreadful again. Running up blind alleys, passing atrocious. Something is wrong.
Flemming..7. Lack of service again but he can play. Pleased he broke his duck.
Anthony……7. Needs to put more crosses in but he can play.
Laurent…..7. Brings energy and must start Saturday.
Agyei……….6. Lost the ball too often to score more but good to see him getting minutes.
