Enock Agyei

Post by IanMcL » Thu Oct 24, 2024 1:09 am

Why Boeteng on back of shirt?

If that's his name, why the more difficult Agyei?

Why not Sarmiento against a team that was fading badly?

He looked a bit lightweight and raw but I think there’s a player there.

Looks to have good pace and from very limited showing can use both feet. One to watch potentially

Nice to see him get on last night after his terrible injury.

My only slight disappointment was that he’d also been very clearly instructed to come inside with the ball every time. The two best chances we created all night were from crosses from wide positions.

It’s not even as if the full backs often drive into the space the wingers leave behind to create an overlap.

Either that or he strongly favoured his left foot.

A good cameo for the youngster. Needs some proper studs on his boots though.

I love it. The OP wants an answer to the name on his shirt and everyone ignores the question

Long injury, no football, young and new league - can’t really expect much, but nice to see him.

His legal name is Enock Agyei, but he uses the name Boateng on his shirt in honour of his mother who passed away. It was her surname.

No, can't expect much so soon, but looked willing to take players on and looked like
he could just be a handful for defenders when he's up to speed and fitness.

Not sure how he ended up taking that (really bad) last minute corner. It definitely looked like he was looking around wondering who was going to take it and then realising it was going to be him.

Brownhill was shouting at him to take a "red" corner, obviously something that they had worked on. Enock didn't know what that meant it seemed.

Glad we've got another player we can use, but his first touch was poor at times. Can only get better
