Your view of the Sheffield Wednesday game is quite generous.
I thought we were poor in both, we just didn't get gifted the lead yesterday.

Good and fair report, CT. I'm sure that all the other clubs that have gained wins this week did so with unashamed, fast, flowing football and for those that fought back for a draw it's pretty much nailed on that the opposition were unable to counteract a barrage of attacks that looked to have goals written all over them. We, of course just seem to be gifted goals by unnecessary, appealing mistakes by the other team. I do wish we could win or even just draw a game properly like all the other teams do.

I could have sworn you didn't go to Sheffield Wednesday

Haha utterly pathetic. You should make everyone on the board aware that if they've watched the game via a screen then their opinions aren't valid.
Fortunately I've realised there's much more to life than travelling the country watching Burnley every week.

I’m utterly pathetic now for not agreeing with you.

And my view of the Sheffield Wednesday game is my view and I’ve now realised that there’s more to life than trying to discuss football with you.

What on earth are you talking about. I appreciate what you do in running this board but you really do need to sort your attitude out, it's incredibly childish.

I think we looked much better in the Wednesday game and correlation isn't causation but I'm afraid those two changes looked to be the difference.
But as stated in the report over a 46 game season there is going to be squad rotation.

Why on earth are you having a go at Tony? He's provided a good report on the game last night. If there is anyone on here who needs an attitude transplant it's you, you child!

I'm not? I said he was quite generous about the Sheffield Wednesday game. I thought we were allowed differing opinions on here but clearly not.

I'm certain that at this point Pires is first choice at left back. Following each international break he has been rotated to the bench because of the travel distance involved. I'm sure after the next break the same will happen. I was hoping that Parker would have found a starting place for Josh Laurent. I'm sure we are close to it. We'll see soon enough I guess, but I think we need his variety for balance.

You can see from the photo that the ref couldn't see the Flemming shirt pull unfortunately.
Interesting location of the ball too!

Pires played after the first break. The Sheffield Wednesday game was the first he’s missed in the league.

Pires doesn't play international football does he?

OK, I hadn't checked. My mistake, I'd just gone off something Parker had said about making changes after international breaks, especially those players who had the most travelling to do.

Personally I would pick Humphreys over Pires, as he is the better defender. I see similarities between Vitinho and Pires, but both lack defensive diciplines. Pires is good going forwards and made several very good passes last night, but a very tricky winger will take him to the cleaners Having said that with coaching I can see Pires improving

15points from 5 of the bottom 7 clubs 5 from 4 in the top 11
Think we have 22 pts by playing the poorer form teams at present
Shocks could be on their way

Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, but I do seriously wonder whether some people are either:
a) on a wind-up mission;
b) might be better to start supporting Liverpool or Manchester City.

You waste a lot of time on this board considering admitting you're not a Burnley fan. Go and find a different hobby. Getting so wound up every day over something you've no interest in isn't healthy. Borderline medical issue
