Re: Roberts interview
Refreshingly open & honest, but not sure if that's a good thing regards this season.
Re: Roberts interview
Seems to me that he's quite content with the career he's had up to date. Not sure that's the right motivation to have to get us out of this division or whether he's just content on seeing out his contract. Speaks like he's sorted for life & couldn't really give a damn about anything else!

Re: Roberts interview
This interviewer is awful as usual. Mumbles and answers his own questions.

I don’t know how you could be critical of that interview said the right things.dvalley69 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 11:12 pmSeems to me that he's quite content with the career he's had up to date. I didn't see it in any way as you have, thought he was really positive.dvalley69 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 11:12 pmSeems to me that he's quite content with the career he's had up to date. Re: Roberts interview
He came across as positive and professional to me. It's his profession and as he points out it's a short career. I'm not sure the phrase "crashes and burns" is appropriate though when referring to footballers.
Re: Roberts interview
Came across as positive and committed to me, too. Don't really see the need to criticise the fella who interviewed him either.

Re: Roberts interview
Not part of the Claret+ interview, but it he's quoted as describing Parker as "brilliant" in another interview (quoted in the article ahead of today's game on this site). That's super reassuring for somebody who's played under Sean, VK, for the Wales team etc.

Re: Roberts interview
Just listened to this and completely agree.
I have no idea how anyone can criticise either Roberts or the interviewer, who is probably a young lad learning his trade and a fellow claret. The questions were perfectly fine.

Re: Roberts interview
Anyone doubting Robert's commitment to our club just remember the tongue lashing he gave Weghorst
