Not seen it mentioned (apologies if it has)

Ian Holloway back in management at Swindon

Always liked the guy and wish him well there. Tough gig though that one.

Got it the back of my mind somewhere that he was interviewed by us years ago .
He got the job and then decided not to take it because he had a young family he didn’t want to move
Good luck to him though at Swindon

He was offered it but he has three profoundly deaf daughters who all have a love of horses. For that reason he didn't want to move them from where they were living at the time. Ironically though, when he managed Blackpool a few years later, he lived in a farmhouse on Pendle.

A club that has been floundering for many years Swindon need an answer but I'm not sure Olly is the answer. They'll certainly get more media time with him at the helm if nothing else.

Good luck to him .........and them!

Apart from Blackpool, where the Latvian through some money at it, his record doesn't really stand up to be honest.

Yes, it was. He'd have been at QPR at the time but his family were living in the south west.

He openly admitted his short comings when he resigned from Palace ( or was it QPR) basically said the Premier league was beyond his capabilities.

Why didn’t he end up in the Bundesliga then?
