Bastards look all over the place.

Dreadful defending for Sheffield United’s goal. Trying to clear it across the box when it could’ve been wellied out for a corner instead.

School yard stuff.

Blackburn were well on top at first, but have looked easily second best since.

It would be handy if it was a draw- but that means wanting Blackburn to score.
It just doesn’t feel right

It’s absolutely not right.

10-0 to Sheffield United, please.

Sorry, but I can cope with a draw. I don't mind them getting just the one point if it holds Sheff Utd up.

Much as I'd like to think we're contenders for automatic, the reality of recent performances is our realistic hope is the play offs at best whilst Sunderland, Sheffield U and Leeds duke it out for automatic. So with that in mind, let's hope Rovers fall away to mid table. Looks like the result we want today in this game, much as I'd like neither to get anything from today.

Will never understand why anyone would want Rovers to lose if it means one of our main rivals benefits at our expense.

Indeed, 0-0 would have been far better in terms of our promotion aspirations but the reality is that if our Chairman/owner flogs all of our best players in the days before the transfer window closes, it is going to come back on us in a big way.
Sunderland, Sheffield and maybe Leeds will have steamed away by January..and all with a very healthy Goal Difference.

Keeper handles the ball outside area and does get a red ,they should be down to 9 men.

Leeds ahead but quite predictable, no big deal. The key for us is if we score goals we win the league, if we struggle to all season it will be playoffs.

Given that simple logic it was also great news at Deadwood earlier.

If we can be in or very close to the top 2 come January, and bring in a goal-scorer then we have an excellent chance of finishing in the top 2. There must be strikers not getting a game for Premier League sides who would do the business for us.

unless something changes quickly we won't score enough goals to give us a chance of promotion

Whilst I sort of understand where you are coming from, I believe its far too early to write off any one of the top ten for automatic.

Far too early to write anyone in either as it happens.

9 of which came in two games that were played by a vastly different side. That leaves 8 goals scored in 10 games. Doesn’t look all that presently now does it?

We are struggling to score, Sheff Utd whilst not prolific are spreading theirs about a bit.

Two factors in this.

Play to his strengths, and you are looking at 15+ for a season at PL level.

He’s enjoying it and staying focused on what he’s being paid for makes him a better player.

Perspective required.

We actually scored more goals in the first two games (9) than we have in the next 10.

With our "new/current team" we have scored 8 goals in 10 games.

The polarity is that we have only conceded 4 in those 10 games which is an incredible stat in its own right.

Although in a direct comparison with Sheff Utd they have now only conceded 2 in their last 11 whilst scoring 12.

And Norwich lose. So a win tomorrow not only puts us back up joint 2nd but also further away from 7th.
