When Parker gets the bullet at Christmas along with Dyche at Everton cue Dyche the Messiah returning to the Turf and everything will be rosy again.

If we keep Parker? I'm going 12th.

Pot him at Christmas and get someone more effective in? 4th.

For me it's now top 6. That may change with players back from injury and 1-2 new players in January.

I believed it would be 1st, then we sold the team.
Then I believed top 2.
Now, it looks like we may struggle for top 6.
But, if we get some players back, they can get fit & find some form then maybe…

Providing we dont collapse between now and the window and can bring in a couple of forwards with some sort of English goal scoring record, we should finish top 6. I hate to say, just cannot see us overtaking Leeds or Sheff Utd with our lack of goal power

On current trajectory outside the top 6 which would be a disaster and Parker should be removed of his duties. Anything less than promotion is a failure with our budget.

Unless there’s a radical change in tactical setup, mid table.

I’m going to go between 8th and 10th.

The January window will be very telling with regards to the finances, especially if we’re drifting.

If this injury crisis continues then it’ll be a struggle to make the play offs, if we get creative players back (Benson/Ramsey/Tresor/Redmond) and get Foster & Flemming paired together then we can push for top 2. Parkerball needs some technicians it seems and our squad right now isn’t good enough for it.

——————-Trafford
Roberts Worrall* Esteve Pires
—————Cullen—Brownhill
Redmond—Flemming—Koleosho
———————-Foster

With bench options varying (on fitness) of Benson, Tresor, Ramsey, Anthony, Sarmiento.

*appreciate CJ has been great but Worrall adds experience needed in my view.

This team is more than good enough to get promotion but the team we’ve had for the last 2 probably isn’t.

top, keep the faith !!! although it is getting back to the sort of football feeling we got towards the end of Dyche's time in charge

I honestly have no idea. Heart says 2nd. Head says 7th. This is based on current evidence and without the hindsight of any potential system changes etc.

The big question is, does Alan Pace agree with you and many others?
I have a lot of respect and belief in our chairman and I just can't imagine him being very pleased with seeing our own fans losing interest when he has spent so much time trying to get neutral fans on board across the world.

Current form suggests 10th,but get injured players back/signings in Jan,play offs at best. We are due a play off disappointment,so can see us playing in the Championship again next season anyway

I know it’s all doom and gloom but what was the logic used to reach this prediction? By definition of ‘at this rate’ we’d finish on 81 points and they’d have 67.

Top half. Pretty toothless at present. Getting picked off by weaker teams with a fairly simple plan. Defend in numbers and hit us on the break. We'll do better when teams come onto us and we have space to run into.

Appreciate Millwall was a real bad one but, to me, the issue is we can’t seem to string several ‘good’ performances together, which doesn’t necessarily indicate going backwards. This chart showing our expected goal difference over the season highlights this. We have a few games of improvement then a real stinker. But the general trend has been marginally higher since game week 4 (black dotted line).

But why would any team come at us when they know what are weaknesses are. The better teams have better coaches so even they will look to prey on our shortcomings.

Interesting chart again, RV.

Tally’s really with what my eyes are telling me which is we were getting very marginally better game by game but had a few stinkers thrown in. I do think the progression is too marginal vs the players he’s had at his disposal though. I think vs West Brom he’s going to need to do something fairly pivotal to show he’s not going to keep producing the same every week. Cool’s idea on the team thread of going to a midfield two might be the answer.

I think there will be questions being asked about Parker now around Turf Moor. Whether that will be from investors to Pace or by Pace himself, I’m not sure, but I’d expect they’ll have all the data points like this to consider and support their decisions. Far more than we have as fans, anyway.

I wonder what the Leicester fans were saying last season when they went through a spell of 10 games losing 6 and drawing 1 to pick up 10 points out of 30. Whatever it was it didn't matter they won the league if my memory is correct.
Look it's not great at the moment but perhaps a little more faith is needed.

Top 6 easily-we are playing very negatively and look at our position! He needs to change the way we are playing right now we could and should be winning some of these games by half time it’s a crap league. No matter what people say the likes of Trafford esteve ,brownhill,Cullen ,koleosho and foster are as good as anything at this level,it’s just tactics.

My mistake, but I disagree with you.

Ignoring the first two games, 17 points from 11. Averaged out over the season that's 68 plus the 6 from the first two.
74 points is enough for 6th or 7th so if we're lucky we get in the play-offs. We only need to turn 4 draws into wins to be on 82 and in with a shout of automatic. Fine margins. It took the team 12 games to click under VK and they'd had a full pre-season and not changed half the squad after the second game.

I disagree with people keep mentioning the first two games. There was so many games were we are having the ball and not getting hurt defensively one bit, your thinking just push the accelerator and have a go but they bloody don’t. Blackburn, Oxford , qpr to name a few we was in control practically the whole match just seems there to frightened to push it.

We’ve had easy fixtures so far and I think when teams realise they don’t need to fear us we’re in deep trouble of imploding. This league is proper shite too, an even lower standard than when we won the title.

If Parker stays 6th, if Kompany was here 1st.
