Travelling up from Shropshire Sunday...is there free street parking Sundays 10 -15 mins walk from the turf. Usually park at Sainsbury's but they want £5 for a Sunday!!

A decent amount of free street parking but obviously much more difficult the closer you get to kick off time

As well as the Council car parks being free on Sundays, the 40 minute limit on street parking in the town centre doesn't apply. Any of them from Manchester Road heading towards the Turf are about a 15 min walk.
Also most of the SINGLE YELLOW LINE parking restrictions near the Turf only apply on Saturday afternoons or Tuesday nights, but look for the signs to be sure.

Just to say, Alan Pace has had the tree on the top right of the map removed.

Better to see the Turf.

I always used to park on Cow Lane (number 7 or 8 on the map).
Walk through the town centre and avoid most traffic, get straight on the road up to the motorway.

The Convent car park near the ground change £5 and it's convenient.

Long story but heading to Burnley tomorrow for the Swansea game , now at the time could only do a saturday game so took the chance .
So when you lot will be heading to the Turf we are on our way to the Airport , you have to laugh .

There's not even any other games you could go to on Saturday.
Maybe Colne or Clitheroe are at home?
