He's a blatant homer. It was the 37th minute before we got a decision. Useless toerag of the worst order.

He is clueless. Free kick every time a West Brom player falls on floor.

Honestly, some of the refs in kid’s grassroots football are better.

Wets Brom are adept at going down, screaming, at the slightest touch.

Ref falling for it, pardon the pun

West Brom certainly realised they were getting everything and used it to their advantage. Slightest touch, down. You get the feeling a stupid penalty or sending off isn't far away

Roberts has been playacting as much as anyone.

Players don't exactly make it easy for officials.

You'd think refs would wise up to it after a few players going down easily, but often seems easier said than done.

It needs Brownhill to ask him if you can’t tackle anymore. Refs like him are ruining the game.

Same old, same old, more possession but also commit more fouls, 12 - 2! Keeps happening,

They will say there was “contact with consequence”. A statement that means nothing. Just something they say to defend every blatant piece of corruption. Even in the championship they are against us.

You can have your criticisms tonight. But fact is we should be 1-0 up away with zero saves made from trafford

Utter disgrace.
He's cost us 2 points with his determination for a home win. As luck happens WBA are as hopeless as he is.

What a shocking set of officials. The referee needs telling that you are allowed to tackle. He’s one of many that’s killing the game.

Not just the goal but that ref tonight is everything that’s wrong with modern football, it’s a contact sport ffs, not every collision is a foul

The assistant ref should have been consulted. The ref guessed. Pathetic.

The ref was awful but I’m getting pretty hacked off with the childish, petulant fouls being committed by the same players in our team time and time again.

Cant believe no ones mentioned their keeper smacking flemming and cleaning him out for a pen he missed first half!

It's been a long time since I've watched a game with as bad a referee as this. Every little tug, push or touch was a foul. Only one way though. He needs reporting. There's bad, there's incompetent, then there's tonight. From the first whistle to the last, he was a complete joke.

Just watched the highlights and the disallowed goal is worse than I expected. Not sure Anthony even touches the defender. Unbelievable incompetence at the highest level.

I wonder if this is something players have been instructed to do. Man City are masters of it, concede possession in the opponent's half and commit a little foul to stop any threat of a breakaway, slim chance of a booking as usually in opponent's defensive third and allows the team to reset
