Probably about expected. Good that Portsmouth hasn't been moved, reckon plenty will be making a weekend of it.

One Saturday 3pm home game before February, ideal when travelling from Birmingham and back for home games

Wonderful, 15 more minutes to get to Plymouth!

As a long distance supporter it does get increasingly difficult to justify having a season ticket. Weekend games moving to Friday and Monday nights are an absolute pain. I’d be surprised if we get to even half of the home games this season.

Terrible Sky showing more games, like most fans I prefer Saturday 3pm kick offs. Rare breed these days and it makes me lose interest.

We aren't far away from the EFL 3pm games being televised here, in what guise, I'm not sure but the latest TV deal was a step towards it.

The current treatment of fans is shoddy, the ridiculous times of games will harm attendances more than the TV coverage.

I make that nine to date (Luton, Blackburn, Leeds, Plymouth, Preston, Hull and the last three) with a further fifteen by the end of February. Nine from fifteen played so far and after the Sheffield Wednesday match it will be 24 from 34 with 12 matches to go.

Clearly we are an entertaining side!

Will with me, i enjoy a few drinks pre match on Saturdays, that is why i liked the championship and renewed. Be the last season for me with all these changes

It has to. And with the walk on prices people are just going to stop bothering. Especially if we have a few years in the Championship.

worth noting that Oxford home on 8th February is also FA Cup fourth round date so subject to change

this season: 19,825

VK's season: 18,975

You might say we have played Blackburn and PNE this year but attendance haven't shrunk, yet anyway.

Sky don't give a toss how many attend the games

The clubs don't give a toss because of the money they get from sky.

From purely a selfish viewpoint, I like matches moved. It means I can take in an extra Satruday match, either Accy Stanley or Colne. Obviously I can be sympathetic to those otherwise affected, but as sympathy is all I can offer (there's nowt any of us can do about it) then I don't feel obliged to feel guilty.

I presume the Blackburn game could still get moved on police advice.

The Blackburn game was in the early season selection, and it's already been moved to 12.30 pm on Saturday 4th January for TV.

We're similar, non-league started as something to do in lockdown but it's increasingly becoming what we build our Saturdays around now. You know it's at 3pm on a Saturday and there's no nonsense around tickets. Then just pick the Burnley games that are convenient, either home or away for a day out.

I count myself as having broken the back of it, when charging at Hilton Park North!

As a selfish 80 year old living in Lincoln , who gave up his season ticket for this season due to the massive hike in price and unable to travel to the games as have no transport, the more matches which are on TV , the better it is watching in comfort and not getting wet through at the ground.

The reason that games aren't shown at 3pm on a Saturday is to protect clubs (especially lower league and non league) from the possibility of lower attendances. I suggest the regular moving of fixtures from the traditional 3pm kick off, will do far more harm in the long run than EFL games being accessible on TV. The Premier League clubs have coped with the constant moving of fixtures due to supply and demand, that isn't the case for the majority of the football league.

Our crowds are holding up for one major reason, and that is season ticket sales. Once our season tickets sales fall, those fans will not return to pay £30-£40 to walk on.

next summers season ticket sales will be interesting across the EFL clubs as i reckon a few fans will be put of forking out £300+ in one go to end up missing several games

First year in a long time i haven't had a season ticket. Done about half so far and a few aways. Its hard to justify paying 40 quid a ticket for a game thats on TV and been moved to a stupid kickoff time.

Them numbers would be different for actual attendees.

You would need to ask the health and safety/police/fire officer for true numbers.

I have already missed 3 games so far this season.Sheff Wed will be another.And possibly M'boro and Leeds doubtful I I will be renewing next season

Derby games all being 12:30 at the insistence of the police is the big annoyance. No time for drinks beforehand when travelling a distance. Totally changes the day,

Rovers home and away, Preston home and away. Same elsewhere, Sheffield derby both 12:30, etc. If the police deny that is them that would clearly be a lie.

We are becoming a sanitised society where the lives of the many are restricted because of the actions of a few. I hate that, just be tough with the few idiots instead.

I think match going supporters at all Football League clubs are now realising what a dreadful tv deal this is. Further proof here with three games in a matter of weeks moved to Friday or Monday.

After missing almost half the home games already this season due to games not being on a Saturday and being able to watch on Sky Sports + I am seriously considering whether its worth it now. The recent batch of changes mean I'll definitely miss another 3 that are moved from Saturday to Friday or Monday, so I dont see the point of my season ticket now, even my kids (adult kids) dont want to go when I dont go (am I a bad parent for making them go to Turf Moor?)

I am an exception to the rule though as I do have a 400+ round trip to attend for home games, which is why I cant do weekday matches due to work commitments.

I'd suspect that is more because Sky want to show all the derby games so they all get shifted and Saturday 12.30 is the prime slot.

Yep.

It’s going to be a drip drip drip effect. A lot of season ticket holders this year probably didn’t realise just how many games would be moved.

EFL clubs voted for guaranteed TV income over uncertain turnstile income and in doing so will increasingly alienate match going fans. Across the piece gates are incredibly buoyant this season but it will be very interesting to see where they are by the end of the TV deal.

Do we actually make any more money out of this Sky deal? Does anyone know how much?

I personally don’t mind Friday night matches. It’s something to look forward to after a week at work and leaves the weekend free which can sometimes mean I get a more productive weekend.

Hate all the other kick-off times though.

For championship clubs last season the football league /tv/ premier league payout combined was around £9M and will probably be a bit more this season and maybe up to £10M . With the new Sky money that will go up by £2.6M minimum for next season with extra being paid as a facility fee each time a game is televised .

it always makes me smile when people complain about fixtures being moved from 3pm Saturday , its not like it has only just started this season its been going on for decades now so we should be used to it and its not like they have only given you 1 weeks notice, January is the best part of 2 months away , i don't know anyone who plans that far ahead for day to day activities , holidays maybe, but doing other stuff at a weekend,

i for one am happy for us to be on the TV a lot it means more exposure for the club plus the extra TV money, if we were never on people would moan the other way , its part of being a football fan like all seater stadiums , we just have to accept it.

The exposure thing is a nonsense, the majority of games moved this season (plus midweek games) are not on the main channel but on the red button.

There aren't hordes of people queuing up to watch Burnley on the TV, when several other EFL games are on, plus the possibility of a Premier League fixture (12.30pm) or European games (midweek)

The extra cash from the TV deal will be a drop in the ocean if it eventually affects attendances.

This current balance between TV, kick off times and match day prices is imo football literally eating itself.

I think you are right. A lot of fans I don’t think realised the extent and frequency of games being moved

I don’t mind a Friday night game or any Saturday kick off time. I can live with a Thursday night.
However I personally hate Sunday games and utterly despise a Monday night.

Yes, it’s up over 50% on the previous deal. Sod the fans.

there should be an option of a pro-rata refund for season ticket holders if they cant attend a game moved for TV.
