Burnley Express article - Scott Parker injury update v BCFC

Post by BigJay » Fri Nov 22, 2024 12:14 pm

What an absolute joke the Burnley Express is. If you read their article quoting an injury update from Scot Parker, ahead of the Bristol City game, it actually says Anass Zaroury is progressing nicely. We all make mistakes, but really? Either that or Scot Parker still thinks he's a Burnley player which would be even more worrying. Link below, no doubt Burnley Express will update the post at some point...

He referred to Hannes (Delcroix) but no surprise to see that sort of error in the BE

Doubt it's only the Burnley Express littered with errors.
Journalism generally has got worse across the board and, has been going in that direction for a while now.

Like any product where the staff are paid peanuts, there aren’t enough of them, they’re not trained properly, and corners have to be cut to meet short-sighted management demands

Online newspapers are only focussed on getting more clicks, not on good quality content.

There only way to survive these days. They've been decimated financially for obvious reasons.

Sad but very true. I did have a subscription to an online newspaper until fairly recently, but had to cancel as it was just churning out endless clickbait articles on 'topics' like Harry & Meghan or Trans rights arguments. No actual quality news.
