interesting he alludes to the lack of atmosphere/noise when we scored our second goal.

It's pretty obvious what the players think of the support at the moment and to be honest I don't blame them.
The only one that seems to get proper support is Esteve, the rest seem to be one bad game away from getting stick.

Yeah, very awkward when asked about the fans and even said they need to be better at some point. Haha.
Never heard any player be so blunt regarding support from the fans. Hannibal is clearly not impressed.

I’m glad he’s said it - it needs to be said
Those moans and groans affect the players … goals are like a relief with the attitude of (we should be beating these 3-0) … so it’s expected … it’s a different and muted cheer when you think you should be winning
I think the last championship seasons highs followed by the torture of last season has given some fans an almost feeling of desperation to get back to dominating teams etc ..
I have said it before but I think a lot have become entitled and it’s affected the atmosphere a lot.
Embarrassing at times

I hate this argument. It’s the players that get the fans going, not the other way around. Our style of football will never get the fans excited, it’s not blood and thunder enough for that. I’m pleased we are winning, but the slow, precise football with lack of chance creation won’t get people on the edge of their seats.

It was rare the atmosphere ever got up during the last championship season if we are honest.
The patient passing game coupled with an opposition who doesn’t show any real intent in going forward is always going to struggle to create one.
It’s not just us either.

Probably showing my age but this style of football is not for me and no real characters in the team to get behind. Doing well but not much fun.

I loved the days of Ralphy Coates tearing down the wing and firing in a great cross and Andy Lochead powering in an unstoppable header. Exciting football.

That’ll get the fans on board, from someone who comes from the graveyard what is Old Trafford.
