He seems fully committed to getting fit and giving back to the club. Cant wait to see him bend one in the top bins again !! Hopefully sooner than later. He’ll always be a legend now no matter what for those special goals and ‘that’ goal

I hope that last clip with him still having to wear the surgical boot is some time ago and not recent. If recent it appears he will be off for many more weeks.
I wonder if he had a partial tear of his achilles tendon.

It was the Plymouth game when he was still wearing it in that clip

It was the Oxford game he was watching on the TV and then it came up with the Plymouth game which was days later. So it's around two months old.

Sadly he said that about Ramsey and Tresor a couple of months back so even if he is on the grass, could be 8-10 weeks away?

Must say, really happy to watch that and listen to him. He clearly wants to be back at it and contributing. We all know just how good he can be in this league, certainly going forward, just hoping that's been well timed that he could be in line to stick another in the top corner at deadwood.

I so Benson before kick off against Coventry along with Foster and Brownhill, he didn’t have the boot on and was walking ok

Seems like it was a torn calf muscle. I did mine 15 years ago. It was the only injury where something just went when running (with no impact). Took me about 6 months for it to heal properly. So hopefully with all the expert medical resources he should be up and running soon.

Noticed his English has improved a lot as well.

He did.

Comes across as a nice guy and wants us to do well.
