I'd prefer an easy draw, allowing the players coming back from injury to get some game time.

They should have been down to eight or nine men after some of the assaults on young Aiden O’Neill. Their attitude stunk that night and it’s noticeable that we’ve never granted them a pre season friendly since.

We were poor having made ten changes from the team that had beaten Liverpool a few days earlier. Goal in the last minute of stoppage time won it for them but there were to challenges on O’Neill from McCartan that were unbelievably bad. Both were clear reds and I don’t think he even got a yellow card

Me too and after the heartbreak of the previous season this game was both disappointing and embarrassing.I was also at Blackpool the season after for another depressing defeat when I think I realised we are never going to win the cup

Perhaps the scrapping of replays has had some impact on that. I would have fancied Oldham to have beaten Orient in a replay and Harborough also knocked out in extra time.

Guessing you live near there - is the Heysham Power station still standing?

I've removed the ifs and buts in the first post - we now know the 64 teams

Seen a few comments on twitter about non league clubs been denied replays. Harborough , Oldham been two of them.

As for Heysham, the power station is still standing, wouldn’t say Morecambe would be a good away day for a beer without a few taxi journeys.
