Really enjoyed that, they battled away first half and then the quality told.
CJ is just superb, Cullen back to his best and Roberts is back at it. Delighted for Parker, great to see 6 of our lot running forward even when we are 2 up.
Special mention for the away following, pretty much sang for 90 minutes, brilliant effort.
A very good win.

Eighteen games played, eight home and ten away
Squad starting to look stronger, just in time for the busy period over the next month or so. Foster, Ekdal and Worrall close to a return as well.
Much improved over the last couple of weeks.

Quality centre forward and Cullen in a double pivot with Laurent.

And average 2 points per game which should get us top two if we can at least maintain that.

Completely dominated the second half and the way we passed out the 4 minutes added time

He sometimes goes about it quietly, but for me, that was Cullen's best performance of the season.

We were told how good CJ was when we signed him but we didn’t see anything for 2 years. What a player he’s turned out to be. He’s grabbed his chance with both hands after Worrall’s injury and long may it continue.
Is this his last year of his contract?

Also avoided cards too as we have 4 players on 4 yellows
Cullen.
Hannibal.
CJ E-R.
Foster too but he's not involved at the moment

Cullen is pivotal to this team. Best in the championship in his role.

Hopefully the penny has dropped for CJ as I am pretty sure three of those cards were for trapping off to the ref.

We will be tested in the next couple of months, our fixtures up to the end of January sees us play eleven league games.
It includes:-
Middlesbrough - Home and Away
Watford - Home
Norwich - Away
Sheffield United - Away
Blackburn - Away
Sunderland - Home
Leeds - Home
Once we come out of that we have played the majority of the top sides twice and have a much easier end to the season.
Our strength in depth will be vitally important, both by being able to select the correct starting XI for the particular fixture but also have quality replacements on the bench.

How dare you have some positivity? What are you thinking?
Parker out
(A joke before anyone gets the wrong end of the stick)

Agreed. We have absolutely nothing similar to him which needs rectifying in Jan.
If he was out for an extended period we have nobody who would get anywhere near the number of touches and passes he completes in a game, so we would lose a lot of our control.

Starting to make games look routine and simple now, and that is what has been a hallmark of every automatic promotion we’ve had from this league.
I had absolutely no doubt we’d win today, even with a stale first half it was very clear we were playing within ourselves and had 3, 4 or 5 gears we could shift up to when required.

Think if we come through the Boro game with another cleanie we will be starting to look at the record for fewest conceded.
