Tom Cannon

Phil Bird said on comms yesterday that Leicester are expected to recall Cannon in January and send him out to another Championship club. Does he know something?
Unless he is unhappy it would be strange to recall him and send him to anybody outside the top 8 and some clubs in the top 8 are sorted up front.
He wasn’t at his best yesterday but he was up against the Wall. He has had many very good performances over the last 2 seasons.

It was reported earlier last week that they might be looking to move him in January. I only spotted it because I was looking to see who might and not be in the Stoke team.

Could be a number of reasons. They’ve had a change of manager at Stoke which could have affected it.

It was reported Leicester want 10m for him now after scoring a few at Stoke.
The only reason to move him would be if they want a bigger loan fee.

I’m not saying this is a reason but as I’ve mentioned above it could be because of a change of manager.

Surprisingly he couldn't perform with Ball.

Invisible or not, he’s a very good player and he knows how to find great positions in the box. He also knows how to score a goal or two. He would absolutely be a good signing for Burnley.

I like the idea of signing somebody who is invisible.

The question is, can we see his clothes (like The Invisible Man) or does his kit become invisible too like in the cartoons?

If he is invisible (which I doubt TBH) and is allowed to play while streaking, we'd have a great weapon in our armament.

Unless his clothes are invisible too, in which case he can wear them when he's playing.

He would, but I presume (hope) that we also have other possible irons in the fire when it comes to new blood up front, we need it for that extra fire power.

Maybe we could get TC and another, that'd be great.

You are right, although I did see him bobbying about and he did bob up maybe once.

I actually thought Cannon looked a handful for them. Bar some very good blocks from us I think he'd have been on the scoresheet, I thought he looked a nuisance.

We’ll be printing money in a few years if we sign him.

So Leeds will now be interested in 3 days.

I've heard we're thinking of pairing him with Russell Ball to give a much needed boost to fan experience.

We should be paid for this stuff.

Strange if they are looking to off load a young player when Van Nistlerooy hasn't even sat down yet.
You'd think he'd at least want a look see first.

I saw a lot of him at Leicester last year. I think we can do better
