Do you think the Egan may be a misprint and just dropped Riley?

Is Redmond injured again? Thought we'd want a replacement winger on the bench if possible

Knowing Burnley that's possible.

Strong team, strong bench. Notable lack of wide players, but at least we have Sarmiento on the pitch who can cover there.

If not why would Egan walk straight in to the side rather than Worral or Ekdal?

I was hoping that was going to be the case.

Pity that. Egan's got huge experience but I think SP would have preferred another game for Egan's Burnley debut (start).

He’s been on the bench last few games the others haven’t

Can’t really grumble about having someone come in who has captained a side up from this level.

No doubts Worrall and Ekdal not ready to start. Real dilemma who to pick when they are.

Egan came on at Stoke and is closer to 90 minutes than Ekdal and Worrall.

Because Egan has been fit, on the bench and actually played some minutes where the others are still feeling their way back (I guess?)

Not at all and nothing against anyone who wears the shirt, but both Ekdal and Worral have featured in the U21 and had a full week in training against each other .

Egan played him on. Not surprised he is not on the same page as the rest of the defensive line considering his first match
