Has anyone else just received an email advising that they have been successful in the ballot for the Fans Forum on Wednesday?

I've just received one.

What is your pre submitted question if you don't mind me asking?

I just asked if we will be planning on getting a new striker in January.

Weak question, I know, but I couldn't think of anything else to ask!

You can only ask a question of what you want to know the answer.

Not sure any tough questions would get answered, even if allowed to be asked. Be like a politician fob off.

As far as I am aware, yes.

Hopefully somebody asks about the walk on prices. Or the clubs take on the amount of empty seats at some home games.

Do you mean empty seats not sold or ST holders who can't make a game?

And the huge increases in concession season tickets over the next two years.

Non-transferable tickets, photo I’d required to gain admission, vetted questions. Not much point in it really other than they are ticking an EFL requirement box.

Both. There's clearly plenty of season ticket holders who are choosing to watch the midweek games on TV.

Not a lot that the Club can do about that though.

I don't know if the questions are vetted or not, but it's a forum where the questions start a debate and audience members can ask follow up questions, it's up to those attending to join in and direct the discussion in the way they want.

I'm not sure it is. I don't think there will be an opportunity for follow ups on answers, Anything to be asked has to be in advance so there cannot be any direction of discussion.

I don't think its the intention for 200 people to just sit there and say nowt for 2 hours
It's pretty easy to steer a discussion the way you want, any discussion on finance for example, can lead to a question on ticket prices if that's the way people want it to go

A discussion is two way though

Audience members could “go rogue” but it’s up to the panel if they wish to answer them.

Having carefully ensured they will choose what to answer, I'd be surprised if they allow open discussion from the audience. We will see when it goes out on YouTube.

If all 200 people ask a question in 2 hours, each person will have 36 seconds to ask and receive their answer.

Can't see much following up

Nobody suggested all 200 ask a question, other than you.

They might be thinking season tickets are too cheap if people are choosing/can afford to miss games because its a bit cold.

I haven't looked into it much as I have no interest in going.

I guess it's like Question Time on the BBC. Everyone submits a question; the club'll choose the ones that were most pertinent and easiest to answer and then an odd one that's difficult-ish, but at the end so time runs out.

I was also selected but I hadn't realised it via junior members only. My daughter is now no longer a junior.

I've messages the club back and will see what they say.

I think we should wait until we hear what questions he takes before making any assumptions.

I think it will be hard to take presumably 50+ questions from fans and not answer any tough ones.

Also, Alan Pace hasn’t got to where he is in life without getting very direct questions and challenging questions very regularly. I’m pretty sure it’ll be water off a ducks back to him.

Exactly, these things are a waste of time, will just fob the questions off like good politicians.

Possibly. Your original point was that they wouldn’t be asked the tough questions but I think it’s more likely that they will and they won’t get answered frankly. But I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve watched the YouTube. Pace seems quite straight talking to me, so let’s see.

Its a massive Pr exercise I think. The questions will all have been read over well before tonight and I expect Alan Pace to rehearsing his answers to perfection as im typing this.
