Humphreys to fill in or Pires to move across?

No striker on the bench, but 3 CBs. Interesting!

I think Humphreys has played rfb for us earlier this season.

Is Egan here until the end of the season?
It sort of feels like he's fulfilled his use now we have Worrall and Ekdal back.

Bit of a nightmare losing robets

I actually think they might play C J as right back … maybe playing a pivot

He’s played right back before

I really don't like to see Humphreys playing at RB. He's a CB. It's bad enough when he's on his natural side at LB, but I'd imagine we'll get absolutely no attacking threat down the right this afternoon. Needs must though I suppose with whatever is wrong with Roberts now.

Sambo must be really bad in training.

He certainly struggles to put a decent bench out to say the size of the squad.

I don't follow.

Perhaps he's got D&V or a heavy cold or perhaps he was carrying a knock and the long journey hasn't helped?

Or then again Parker didn't want to show his hand in the pre match?

Exactly!

6 centre backs in the match day squad is also a joke.

It’s time to try a 442 approach with Jay and Fleming up top.

I see Barnesy is on their bench, too so we know what that means! 😬 What a stupid decision (one of many) letting him go, looking what we have now.

3 central defenders, no striker and little to no game-changers on the bench!...

Add to the fact that we only have one striker in the match-day squad who is 35 years old...

For a supposedly massive squad and a club with one of the biggest budgets and the biggest spenders in the Championship, that is not only shocking but absolutely negligent

Where's Sambo?

I'd be reluctant to play Humphreys at RB
CJER a better option

I’d imagine Humphreys at right back against the right footed and dangerous Borja Sainz. Humphreys had Solomon on a lock against Leeds remember.

Only JayRod and Flemming up front how are some players fit mid week but not for the w/end i know players can pick injuries in training but really every week. Are we going for 0-0 i SP proves me wrong and we win 3 nil UTC

That's because of injuries and Tresor.
We only have 2 injuries to players in the forwards that are new to this season; the rest are long-term injuries that we knew about in the summer when we had plenty of time to find solutions to that problem!

Only 1 midfielder is out injured currently who again is a long-term injury we knew about in the summer and who was never going to get many games in this season...

On Tresor, we knew about his situation in the summer, and I have been saying since the summer that he will never play for Burnley Football Club again. Unfortunately, I am being proved right, and it wasn't rocket science, so we have had plenty of time to counter that issue as well, although that one was and is more tricky but either way, he was never going to be part of our team this season!

I love Barnes but he wouldn’t get in our team

We have all those CB on the bench due to injuries … what do you suggest we don?

I would've thought that Parker rightly sees the value in playing Sarmiento as a 10.

Sarmiento said in his interview that the number 10 role was his prefered position, we might just see how that is today.
