Don't recognise the negative comments tbh.

Thought he had an excellent first half and a poor second half.

It's amazing how people see referees differently. On the Watford board, some are complaining that he gave us everything :D

He was alright for 50 mins but when Flemming started doing his Ashley Barnes impression he gave us sod all.

Booking Burnley players for nothing ( the Trafford one was a shocker imo ) yet allowed Watford a free reign to do as they pleased, guessed a lot and guessed a lot wrong

Gifted them their goal.

Obvious free kick to us deep in their half, waves play on.

They break, CJ recovers well but concedes corner, they score.

Rancid. Foul count must be massively against Watford. Similar offences were not carded. He was quick to card us. He actually did his job with the amount of added time, of course the one time a ref actually does the right thing we would prefer them not to. There is a foul in the play prior to their corner and goal. He gave similar freekicks to them. Head contact situation with Koleosho was initiated by their player. Constant fouls on Flemming and Hannibal. There was a forearm in Flemming's face second half. He was a bad ref but not the worst we've had this season.

B - 10 - how we ended up with three booking and Sissoko didn’t go in the book on a totting up basis is staggering.
C - 15
D - 10 - I think he was knackered second half, his performance second 45 was dire

Would happily have him back every week.

Played on in the main and tried to keep the game going. He missed a few free kicks for both sides but nothing major.
It would have spoiled a good game if he was as picky as some want on here.

How he didn’t book Sissoko I have no idea. He must have committed at least 7/8 fouls.

Cheers fella. First half on Hannibal was pretty much constant. Would have suggested a good number more than that. The ref went down poorly in my part of the ground.

The Trafford one, he should be embarrassed by. Traff was moving the ball to where the Lino was stood with his flag out. The ref booked him for time wasting I think - completely wrong. Especially at 0-0 from minute 2 their keeper was time wasting. Joke ref.

Watched over here in Spain & the commentators were from the Watford end & even they were saying some of his decisions were terrible, thought one was going to have a stroke when he booked Riley.

Burnley player (Laurent?) was correctly booked for the pull back. So why wasn't the same applied to the Watford player 5 minutes later for exactly the same offence???? Trafford was booked for time wasting when he'd not even been spoken to previously and he wasn't even time wasting! Otherwise it was the daft lino who flagged a foul against Brownhill in the first half when he cleanly stole the ball in a great position and the same guy who flagged their forward offside when we were attacking in a good position!!

He was fine first half and appalling after the break. The Trafford booking was a disgrace, especially since he’d been hot on telling everyone where to take free kicks and throws all game.

Tried his best to gift them an equaliser tbh

How we ended up with more bookings is mind boggling.

Where did he get 5 mins injury time from as well?

Well, he certainly gifted the goal they did get.

Unbelievable that a ref would have the chance to even up such a one sided game.

What did you expect? We thought 5 or 6, but given his second half performance we suspected more.
5 was the absolute minimum we might have expected when you consider the subs, the 2 goals and the various minor stoppages.
He actually played 7, but adding the further two was also about right considering the stoppages in the added 5

Not seeing what many did in the first half, gave some odd decisions, and generally was inconsistent with his bookings.

They had 3 sub windows and we had 1 in the 90 mins. The physios were hardly bothered, and there really wasn't much time wasting.

My main problem with this interpretation is that if a game like this gets 5 mins injury time, then games like QPR and Derby there should have been at least 10 with all the time wasting and fake injuries. It seems like some refs just pick a number out of thin air.

For about 75 minutes I thought he was really good. After that he was abysmal. His foul detection was like a lucky dip. Could and probably should have sent their rb off for a second yellow in the second half.

Decent first half (not helped by his Lino on the Longside.

Second half made a complete shambles of it and he seemed to ignore any Watford fouls whilst pulling up and yellow carding Burnley players who had committed lesser offences.

I know we are biased but hells teeth.
