Josh-tastic

Top performance today and , acknowledging the contribution of others , notably Hannibal, I really like the look of the three-Josh midfield.
Having Laurent’s strength and athleticism alongside Cullen frees up Brownhill to take up more advanced positions, that brilliant second goal today being the prime example. I think we should persist with this.
And before anyone asks no , I’m not joshing.

Without looking it up or thinking too hard about it, I reckon Steve, Steven or Stephen is our record 'same name' for players with the same name at the same time.
Could also be Dave or David but that's only because you're never more than six feet from a Dave.
But Josh is one of those names that always existed, but didn't really matter until 30 years ago and has kinda snuck up on us and now they're everywhere.

We’ve definitely got plenty of J’s playing for us
5 in the starting 11 today and 3 on the bench, with another 2 in the first team squad

He played more as a second striker today but seemed to enjoy himself and he had an excellent game.

There's a real bromance forming between Josh Brownhill and Josh Laurent - they look like genuine best buds.

Is that Josh you’re referring to?

The lack of technical ability is why Josh Laurent hasn’t played higher than the champ but he is a excellent championship player

And people were only saying the other day that Brownhill should leave.
Top performance, top player. Best midfielder in the league.

I liked that, at Norwich, half of our outfield players had the name Josh or Egan in their full name.

That’s about right. Brownhill is out of this world.
I’ve always rated him, especially when going forward.
He is our very own Lampard.
Laurent has come into his own being both powerful and awesome.
Our midfield really is very special. Let’s carry on playing to our strengths.
Oh god and I left out Hannibal who is pretty dam good as well.

It's now Brownhill's best season goals-wise too. Excellent.

I've been a critic of Browny, but this role is his ideal one and it looks like we have the right balance in other midfield positions to free him up. We are more of a threat when he's further forward making runs. Here's hoping it continues

Immense performances yesterday by Brownhill and Cullen. As good as it gets really.

Seemed a strange line up on paper yesterday, but it really worked and full credit to Parker. He just packed out the midfield and Watford could not handle our numbers and the quality of players we had there.
Ramsey (hopefully) coming back in the new year is another plus, as I think he offers something a little different to add to our already solid midfield.

I noticed after Brownhills goal how lovey him and Laurent were. Seem like good buds.
Was a little gutted to see Josh B give the finger on lips (shhh) gesture to fans. I definitely feel like the players are still disappointed in criticism they've had from fans. Can't say I blame him.
