Looking for their third coach of the season
They’ve sacked Pelach after just 3 months

I think our ex player, Jonathan Walters, now Sporting Director there, could do with taking a look in the mirror at some point.

I hope they take their time on finding a replacement. I don't want any bouncing before the 2nd of January.

The chairman should be looking in his mirror and replacing him. He clearly got it horribly wrong with the Pelach appointment.

Always seemed very strange to take the Norwich first team coach after sacking Schumacher.
The Coates family had a reputation for running the club well but it hasn't seemed that way for a while now.

Really strange decision I thought

Commentator last night said the owners had instructed the manager that they wanted to get the ball forward quicker. What is the point in taking on someone who might play a different way to what you want.

It happened at Burnley for certain in 2010 when Brian laws was told by a director to play 4-4-2.

He’s a good lad to have in the dressing room, though.

With Stoke and West Brom both in the market for a manager it would be very surprising if Mark Robins is without a club come the new year
There's Millwall too of course but they will more likely need to look elsewhere

I have to say that some of the players need to take some responsibility for their current situation. The lack of effort from some of them against Leeds was disgraceful.

You really know nothing dont you. Whilst I dont know them well I can tell you with 100% certainty that Peter would have done anything for Stoke City. And while not as interested in the football Denise not only loves the club but the town as well. You can call her for making money from gambling but she really doesn’t need the money the football club generates as the first female self made billionairess.

Hopefully this means they play with more confidence against us and won't park the bus with a new manager in charge.
That'll give us a better chance of winning.

Very unlikely. They have all seen how to get a point at ours and what happens if you don't do it.

What has happened at Stoke over the last few years? Seems a bit like Man U where regardless of which manager goes in they seem to have problems.

They are buggered by FFP rules to be fair. They had some breathing space in the summer before 23/24 season and spent £24 million and hopes were high of a good season but it turned out to be money wasted and another mid-table season and after that expenditure they're back under the constraints of FFP. They need to sell a couple of players but it wasn't helped summer just gone where a potential profitable sale of Tyrese Campbell didn't happen due to him being out of contract and signing for Sheff Utd on a free.
The Stoke owners certainly have money to pump into the club but their hands are tied.

Stoke is rapidly becoming a very difficult club to manage.
I live in the Potteries, and the locals aren't happy. Walters appears to be destroying the club with his huge ego, despite having none of the skills/experience of a proper DOF.
He didn't exactly pull up trees at Fleetwood.
Apparently he sacked Schumacher who questioned the quality of players Walters was bringing to the club, and appointed a yes man who also has no experience, which has gone catastrophically badly. Obviously he won't take any responsibility for the failure.
The current Stoke chairman John Coates is regarded as the member of the Coates family with zero business acumen.
If they're not careful they could drop down to League One.
No matter what the reservations some have about our ownership, we have to be thankful we're not run by someone so misguided that a figure like Walters is given such massive control of the club.

If Coates are so good for Stoke how have they managed to ruin the playing side?.Appointing a director of football with questionable man management skills and sacking managers for fun doesn't help.

The Coates family are in the process of pumping millions into upgrading their training centre.
They will be constrained by FFP on the playing side but to suggest they are poor custodians or pocket liners is utterly bonkers.

I think one of Denise Coates’s charities is directly linked with a home in Burnley for youngsters with psychological problems .

Stoke were the worst team I've seen in the Championship this season against Leeds on Thursday.
Truly dreadful. Leeds laboured to be honest, but should have won by four or five.

A couple of years ago her helicopter landed at Burnley Golf Club. I believe she was visiting said home. Polite, unassuming woman.

I'm surprised you saw much if you looked at the game on TV. Half the time half the pitch was not visible at all because of fog/mist!
But I agree, it was the most one sided Championship match I've seen this season.

Nice little tax evasion for her then whilst her business cripples the lives of tens of thousands up and down the land.
