A man with strong beliefs and principles. After he left the White House he went back to live in the same house he had previously, a very modest two bedroom property in Plains, Georgia, where he was from. He never went on the lucrative after dinner speech tours as most seem to do nowadays.

President Carter is the first US president i can remember being in office.

Modest by American standards. 4 beds though and absolutely huge footprint!
