Great stuff. Hope he can get back to what he was. Shifting CJER and Steve would take some doing though.

Don't know if he can display those with the shirts, and to be honest I don't really care, I'm just thrilled and delighted he's back on the grass.
It's been a long hard road and there's still plenty to do, but he clearly knows that.
Made my day.

Been thinking for a while that maybe it is time to experiment with a 3-5-2 formation. We gave an abundance of quality center backs, wingers (other than Anthony) seriously underperforming, and fullbacks that are more comfortable going forward than defending

Is he back in full training or just on the grass. It might be best for both parties to loan him out in Jan possibly to a German side to get him some high level football to get up to speed.

Made up for the lad.
So much hard work every week with no hope of playing.

For me, nine goals conceded means the centre-back pairing stays as it is, be daft to change it.
But great news about Beyer.

Great news. Arsenal look so solid with players who are equally comfortable at centre half playing full back. Could we play…
Beyer, Egan- Riley, Esteve, Humphries

Beyer was originally coming in as a right back that could play cb, that back 4 would be fantastic to see.
A back 3 of Beyer Egan-Riley esteve would be fantastic but I’m not sure even if we are promoted that we get another season out of esteve

Seen something saying he’s having “individual training” which I’m assuming is about getting his body back up to the condition required to start training with the group

He really can’t. He’s a centre back. We had this years ago with Bikey. Let’s not put square pegs in round holes.

Thanks for the update Jordan.
Doesn't really hurt to let the punters know why you're absent and how you're progressing does it?....when you've nothing to hide that is.

I absolutely love Jordan Beyer, this is fantastic news for what he has been through, and can only be great news for our club.
I hope the recovery remains problem free, and we see him play again. We know other clubs will start circling our current holy trinity, so having JB on the way back is a massive positive.
Good luck Jordan

Fantastic news.
I would say Beyer and Esteve as a pair would be the best pairing but realistically that is a 2025/26 problem. Really though I don’t have a clue and neither will Parker - we have 7 top class CBs at this level, all can play in the PL, some are surely about to go, and all a manager can do is pick two and hold his breath.

Brilliant. Welcome back young talented man, but slowly. Regarding other comments, I don't think CJ and Esteve will be available for ever.

I would agree, but he's had 18 months out with what is a career threatening injury. I really hope he can get back up to the levels of fitness, ability and mentality he displayed in our first season but nothing is promised.
It is CJs shirt to lose but he is coming up on 6 months on his contract till it expires and you'd imagine we're not going to be holding on to Esteve for that much longer so the sooner we can get him reintegrated into the first team the better.

I’d highly doubt Beyer will be available this season. It’s just the next step in his rehab.
Great news nonetheless.

Once fully fit he should be good enough to get his opportunities. Esteve and Egan Riley have been sensational but neither are exempt from injuries or suspension. I thought we would line up Worrall/Esteve at the start of the season and look how well ER took his chance when Worrall was injured

How are they trying to create a story? Before every game they put an article about both teams on who is missing and who are doubtful

Cos we had a poor experience trying this once with a one trick pony means all other players are one trick ponies also?
Do you remember Graham Alexander?
Whilst I would normally agree with your square pegs, round holes statement, I believe that good footballers can adapt. Bikey wasn’t a good footballer. Beyer is, and if you can remember him playing centre half for us, then you remember him making some excellent ball carrying runs through the centre from deep and finding a claret shirt with his pass?
Beyer is a very good footballer. At least, he was prior to his injuries.

When you see the headlines I think it’s trying to imply that we’ve suddenly got a shed load of new injuries.

When a third of the players listed haven’t played all season for us and another third also haven’t played for us all season because they are Stoke players, then they are creating a story

It is really good news for the lad but I would be very surprised if he even makes the bench this season. We have two exceptional centre backs and a plethora of experienced and decent quality centre backs already fit. Buyer will have to somehow get up to scratch and past them.

It’s really not creating a story, Burnley express do an article every match day reporting for both team who are out and who are doubts for the game. There’s nothing more to it.

Could it be that if Steeeeve is sold in the summer window(hopefully not this Jan) then Jordan would be the obvious replacement if can recapture the form he had pre-injury, hope this idea isn’t in AP’s mind
