What does amaze me though made his debut in March for Peru and already made 10 appearances for them. This is a worry for me, maybe not so much when in the Premier League but it's hard to get a player settled in the Championship when so much travelling is involved...Sarmiento a case in point

It's Connor's shirt but great that he has some proper competition again in that area. Humphreys has done OK at right back but it's not his position (then again, Bash says left back isn't his position and he's outstanding there) so this provides a proper alternative and at a good age/level of experience.

I would think he'll be available from the weekend. I think you still have to sign a day before to play and he can't sign until tomorrow because the window isn't open yet.

Great interview with him, seems like a good character, which will fit in nicely with the current group. His profile interests me too, regularly talks about goals and assists and arriving in the box from deep runs. Given he’s played as an 8 for Peru mainly and been a key player, he’s obviously pretty versatile too. Might even fit on our right midfield role in our ‘new’ 4-4-2 from time to time, as well as rotating with Roberts if he’s out / suffering from fatigue. Looking forward to seeing him play!
