If anyone’s watched him recently then no. Of course he’s got the tools to be a good player but he’s struggling as of late.

I don’t actually think there’s the potential there in koleosho that some people think. He didn’t show much technique in the prem and hasn’t this season. He’s not like Odobert who could cut in and bend a shot in

He can certainly dribble the ball but we and a team need to work out how to isolate him 1 v 1 and give him the opportunity .
At the moment he looks like another Dan James

He hit one great pass in the first half, and all he did most of the game was run into too many defenders. Does he think he can beat the entire defence. I have to say for someone who has played all season , only his Leeds goal stands out. For me at best he is now an impact sub

Thought he played well today and was the wrong player to take off.
Don't understand how Parker has managed to knock £20m+ off his value by constantly favouring a loan player and it's Koleosho that gets the stick.

Anthony has one of the more consistent, as well as productive, performers this season from an attacking perspective (the data backs that up). Koleosho gets stick because his final action is generally not good enough and does stupid stuff like running into players after already beating 2.

Whilst I don't rate him much I don't think we play to his strengths at all. I think Roberts doesn't like giving him the ball much either because he knows he'll likely give it away. I'd sell him tbh

Anthony has been given opportunity after opportunity to build that consistency at the expense of Koleosho.
Today is a prime example, in a rotated side to rest players Anthony gets the start on his favoured wing and is afforded the full 90 whilst Koleosho is the first hooked.

Koleosho has had ample opportunities on his so called favourite left side in games this season and hasn’t been good enough.
I don’t understand starting Anthony on the left today when he has played his best football from the right

He needs to be more aware of what's going on at the time of receiving the ball rather than deciding what he's gonna do with it at the time of receiving it imo. 99% of of his decision making is wrong and leads us to losing possession, unless he just passes it backwards, and that to me is because his reaction to things is at the time of getting the ball. Ultimately, it's what someone else mentioned previously: he was spotted for his pace and has been taught how to play football physcially, but he's got no football brain and it shows, especially in the difficult role of being part of the creative side in a team. Technically, he's very decent.

Hart was past his best when he came here, Berisha we hardly saw to form an opinion, Weghorst didn't want to be here and no one ever rated Darko in the first place... So try again.

He's a technically dreadful player. The amount of times he takes a bad first touch then runs into trouble chasing after it is unbelievable for a player at this level.
It's getting to the point where I'd be surprised if he ends up having a good career even at this level. He's technically miles off it.

It’s shown this season it doesn’t matter what wing he plays on, he doesn’t have the technical ability or football brain to affect games.
For what’s it worth Anthony has arguably been one of our best players this season. He’s almost undroppable at this point.

if we played triangles and got him in behind sides he would do far more damage, as it is we are asking him to try and beat players and he can't. He has pace to burn but we are making it hard for him and that has clearly affected his confidence. Put him in a better side and he would look better, i'm hoping a PL team offers good money for him and we cash in though, he's not going to thrive in a Parker side.

I do agree regarding his end product last season. I thought it was poor at the time.
Although I think his dribbling and football brain seems to have regressed quite severely

Hate the current obsession with “potential”.
We are basically playing a League 2 standard player. If he’s was 27 he’d be nowhere near this league.

You’re on the wind up I’m sure
His potential is non existent, he’s got worse with age and experience. His one advantage against many, his pace, he doesn’t use, and when he does, his end product is terrible.
I said last year that when he got injured it was a blessing in disguise, because it gave Odobert the chance to play who is 10x the player. It’s just a shame we don’t have much better to pick from at the moment.
Joe Hart and Wout - both full internationals for their respective countries, will naturally come with some expectations
Darko - another bad signing and he wasn’t over rated, it was pretty even with who thought he was good/bad
Berisha - at a time where we hardly ever signed any form of ‘flair’ player, and played well for Albania at the turf, never got a chance but file him along the Vydra’s of the world who got better the less he played.

It's the only thing that'll make us money in the end. We buy 'potential'; they do well at a lower level and then we sell them on as having the 'potential' to do more at a higher level hence bumping up the fee a bit more because of this 'potential'. All marketing nonsense, but it works!!

Mattster you honestly can’t be watching the game if you didn’t think he was an issue today.
Him, Sarmiento and Jay were shocking.
Koleosho has been called out because he’s been really poor all season and there’s no evidence he’s improving (I actually think he’s getting worse every time he plays).
I get that he’s young but along with Foster/Brownhill he’s probably the most valuable player in the squad so he comes with expectancy
