Sheffield U equaliser came from a ball simply smashed into the area causing the mistake, rather than dicking around keeping posession

Oh hang on, Sunderland score again……….

Yippee!

2 teams attacking. What a novel idea.

Great game -

Just in todays game for us

It’s crazy sometimes that we don’t shoot in good positions …

This game is an example why you should

You mean the same Sheffield United that didn't create a single chance against us?

Sunderland’s forwards are just what we lack.

Then why didn't Sheff United do that against us if it's that easy?

The same Sheffield United that are currently above us in the table, with a better goal difference, despite starting with minus 2 points.
You can’t be telling me this game isn’t more exciting than ours?

It might be, but they were rubbish on Boxing day.

Nobody’s username more closely encapsulates their outlook on here than Murger.

It’s got that dour, bleak Dickensian feel to it.

You might want to re-check the table.

They’re not above us. They’ll need a point tonight to get above us.

I think you need to read my message again and then appreciate your message is completely irrelevant to my comment

Not once have I criticised our defence or how we played against Sheffield

Sometimes we don’t pull the trigger when we have opportunities to in certain games - today was one of them

Is that not a fair comment ?

Sunderland’s attack is leaving me somewhat jealous, but also shows how well we must be playing to limit them the way we did.

We were all over the place in that game, not through Parker's fault though, it was all the outgoings and upheaval.

We will beat Sunderland when they come in January because of the space that they give teams , but if they were to sit back and play compact we wouldn’t.

Bit of a disastrous Christmas for Sheffield United.

No wins and some injuries to key players.

So that leaves us 2nd and 12 unbeaten. Can’t all be bad, can it?

fix a few little things and we should turn enough draws into wins, it's absolutely there for us to get promoted.

It absolutely is. Sheff Utd’s wobble suggests they won’t walk away with it as they seemed to be doing at one point. The worry is whether we can convert these home bore draws into victories. It doesn’t seem like a big task but half a season in and we’re not any more convincing.

We haven't beaten any team at the Turf this season that play compact. TBF we don't have a clue how to. However, win away draw at home gets you up. Not good to watch at home and the dreadful atmosphere says it all.

That's up to Pace to get Parker better quality, there are one or two who are nowhere near imho. No idea who they need to get but a sprinkling of dynamism up the top end would transform our season imho. I fail to believe there aren't better options even on loan than we currently have.

It's the last piece of the jigsaw, so to speak.

After Blackburn away, our (theoretical) hardest remaining games are Leeds and Sunderland at home, other than that it's games where we'll be facing teams that are going to look to frustrate us.

I still think we need a bit more quality bringing in in the final third, or hopefully Redmond/Tresor/Ramsey play and give us something extra.

I really hope that Benrahma is a genuine option, as well as someone else for the right wing - someone who's scored goals.

Completely agree. It's essential tbh. We need to move some on and get a few in.
