I love Ash. But for crying out loud. I presume this is more to do with him getting into coaching. He'll be great for the dressing room. Maybe a few cameos. Hopefully not thought of as a solution to our scoring problem

There is enough ‘sh!thousery’ with Hannibal. How many matches do you want to end with 10 players?

Can't see him playing much, but will be great for moral and give a boost to the players.

From LCP's post thought it would be practically every other game! ;)

Yes. They went down to 9 men in the first half. We won 1-0 with Trippier scoring.

Great post mate..... Sent it to a few rovers supporting friends of mine, and they have all (7) expressed how gutted they are by this signing.

Only needs to be in and around the team. Be great for him to play also. They know he is our Tallisman, he knows what Saturday is about. This is nothing short of a terrific re-signing. He loves us like most of us love him.

Great to have him back. A warrior and a leader. Exactly what Derby day needs.

UTC.

Wow - can’t believe it. Posted his name in the Rovers line-up thread yesterday as he was what we needed for Saturday and sure enough he signs today. Great hold up player and should be good for Fleming to play in the 10 role. Rovers defenders will be bricking themselves now and won’t surprise me if their goalkeeper falls ‘ill’ tomorrow. Once a claret, always a claret. Will get a massive ovation from the Burnley fans the next time he’s on the pitch. I don’t think he’d be coming if we hadn’t promised him game time. Can see one of our other strikers leaving now. Singing ‘aye, aye Ashley’ -COYC

If he helps us beat Rovers in whatever way then it'll be
seen as an inspired move.

If he helps us get promoted in whatever way (by scoring
a few winning goals) then it'll be seen as an inspired move.

Let's hope he can make an impact upfront.

Love to know whether this was a Parker initiative or a Pace one.

Barnes is back!!!
Good striker cover till "the board" sort out something
Even if he just plays on Saturday it will be massive...Eustace and the fiddlers will be bricking it...totally destroyed their game plan.
There is a god!!

Don’t care what he does ( so long as it’s legal)
He should never have left us in the first place.
I’ve not been so happy since Trevor Steven scored two goals against QPR away.

He's 35, couldn't get into the Norwich team,I hope it works, but it's most likely that as a player it won't.For those who are super excited about this signing,I have a suggestion that will blow your mind.We sign Andy Payton until the end of the season, why not he's a true claret, knew where the goal was , could do a job, worth a punt and all the usual drivel I read on here,What about Charlie Austin or better still Willie Irvine, his son on here would be delighted.

A certain goalkeeper might be apprehensive now as the net bulges on Saturday!!!

He will give these talented youngsters of ours a lift.

Imagine being that much of a wart you start a sentence with for those who are super excited. Wether you think it's a good singing or not your attempt to ground people's happiness is rather unsettling.

Yes, I can see Houdini pulling off a disappearing act. And hopefully he can take Tresor and Redmond with him as well.
